I come at this from the opposite angle, how dare mcdonalds give something so awesome to kids with their disgusting food, the toys are too cool to be linked with that putrid offal

Thank you, I was just about to say something quite similar. I'd like to believe McDonald's is so desperate for patronage they've come crawling, like a Medieval penitent, on bloodied hands and chafed knees, to Marvel Comics, begging for the merest smidgen of marketing tie-in cash...but that's a pleasant fantasy.

Jeez... kids TV shows and violence never messed an entire generation up. I mean, I'm 23 now and growing up with shows like Rocko's Modern Life and Angry Beavers, full of slapstick violence, hasn't turned me into some psycho killer. And I used to LOVE watching the X-men cartoons and what not on Saturday mornings. I really don't understand where all this overwhelming sterility when it comes to raising the next generation of children is coming from.

For added laughs, I tried to find the contact page on that CFCC website and, quite hysterically, found none. That's right, they have a donation page where you can donate as much as you want and praise them for their work, but they accept no criticism for their part in destroying our nation's youth.

i mean seriously..toys are plastic that are meant to be used with a childs imagination for FUN, they are quite durable (usually) and can survive quite a few battles (mine did at least)

i feel so sorry if this is any kind of futur for any children out there...that is so sad.
