Haha, they really can't say that the superhero toys are a bad influence. The so called "food" they sell at McDonald's is just fried dogshit wrapped up in paper.
Actually super hero comics were the boogie man of the past by many parental groups because they were "dumbing down" kids with pictures and violence. I had cousins who couldn't buy super hero comics (no Batman and had to read Archie!) because of this line of thought (so I corrupted them by letting them read mine).Necromancer1991 said:What happened to the Silver Age comics, back when superman punching Hitler was widely regarded as the most patriotic action ever performed by an American, now all of a sudden superheroes are up there with videogames and the internet (and by extension fee adult content) as the #1 source of corruption of today's youth! That plus I'd be more concerned with obesity caused by the food than the toys coming in the happy meals!
They have a point. This will most definitely cause children to burn each other at the stake and raze small villages. (<-sarcasm) I mean really? It's like they just want to complain so they go around looking for things to whine and moan about. Also, they do know that superheroes generally have superpowers, right?"A so-called happy meal at McDonald's features the horrifying spectacle of a man on fire and a menacing figure that explicitly spurs them to violence."
