MS always ignore PC, they just falsely advertise that they have loads of excusives like Mass Effect and Fable 3 on 360 only, yet theyre on PC!

just goes to show MS doesnt give a shit about PC and they just release the games there for some extra cash

Why would porting a game like Mass Effect be worse on a console with more blu-ray disc space? Surely they can cram better graphics, more extras etc onto a blu-ray!

I will still get this despite not playing ME1, if it mattered THAT much about carrying a save over then they would have made a ME1 for the PS3!

EDIT: Ok! Stop quoting me saying I'm an idiot and don't know what I'm talking about! It's a personal opinion!
(You're just angry because you couldn't get Mass Effect to work on your laptop.)
LOLJK but the PC already has much better graphics and stuff.
MY GOD MICROSOFT, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?
[HEADING=1]MASS EFFECT IS NOT AN X360 EXCLUSIVE![/HEADING]
Hate to break it to you, M$.
Maybe... In a roundabout way they were saying it's a 'Microsoft Games' exclusive?

It's not even 360 exclusive in the 1st place. PC is a valid platform too.

I hate this console elitist attitude of "PC doesn't count". To think the PC gaming fanbase is known for elitism, how ironic.

OT: Dragon Age Origins was on PS3 as well. This is hardly surprising. Now that EA are publishers, they don't have Microsoft stopping them from going multiplatform.

Let's face it, the age of the exclusive is dying. The only company that's going to end up keeping exclusives eventually is Nintendo.

I'm gonna lead with: I love Mass Effect. I've played through one and two twice from the disks.

Oh, hey Steam, how's it going? Me? I'm doing well, not having to worry about disks in any way at all.
In reply to this: both of them are diskless once installed. So if I'm careful with respect to the DRM (like, don't knock my case too hard or something) I won't need the disks again. Oh yeah; Steam is awesome but it's also better than the Devil at tempting (you to buy games with those magical sales, in this case).

I guess nobody else has this problem with all the "it's best on PC" comments but I'll ask anyway. Does anyone know anything about terrible turning animations for the PC version? I only get an 8 point orientation but on ME1 I had smooth rotation while running around. Actually now that I think of it I don't have the greatest graphics card so maybe it's the settings but still any input would be nice.

About time, the only things that should be exclusive are things published by Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo

I don't understand this. The people who have 360s are still going to get the Mass Effect games for the 360. The people who have PCs are still going to get Mass Effect games for the PC. This only means the PS3 crowd get to play the game as well. The damage to the Microsoft market is either going to tiny or non-existent.

Yeah I'm an Xbox user, and even I won't drink this kool-aid. I hate it when any of the the console companies start running thier mouth. I hope we are starting to see the death of the console exclusive creeping up. I know you'll still have the first party stuff out there(no way your wrestling pokemon off of nintendo hardware) but 3rd party exclusives need to go bye bye.

I agree. I would also be concerned about establishing the universe for new players. ME1 has a much better introduction than ME2 in this regard because... well... ME2 is a SEQUEL!

Especially since you apparently made the WORST possible decisions all the time (killing the Council in particular.)

Anyway, apparently Microsoft has completely forgotten that there is a PC version of both games.

No mention of the PC MS? I thought you were bumming us every chance you got now?

That's what I was thinking. ME (the first one at least) was best on the PC but they have to push the 360 beyond PC because they make money off hardware and/or online subscriptions. A lot of companies make PC hardware. I kind of wish they did the same thing with the 360: allowed a bunch of other electronics/pc companies produce the hardware. I bet you someone would've gotten that rrod problem solved more quickly.
