Didn't Notch in a comment about World Explorer say he was interested in iOS devices?
Looks like Castlevania meets Minecraft to me. If it has a reasonable pricetag I might grab it. Or at least a demo or something to check out.

Meh, I'd much rather the concept and robustness of DF be preserved and easier to access with a better GUI. Or rather with a GUI at all. It's just a hard game to get into overall and the lack of a visual interface that's easily understandable makes that even harder. I'll try it again later when I'm feeling masochistic. Really though, the game reminds me alot of those classic maple story style FTP MMO's, but with crafting whatnot worked in, and as long as were jumping on the but its like minecraft wagon, minecraft is fairly slow paced, and the enemies exist more as a threat to keep mind of, this game looks like a full on 2d action title with building elements, its more than different enough to set itself apart from the mega giant.
Im keeping tabs on this game for sure, looks really, really fun

Also, just so people won't assume the only ones saying good things about the game are the developer's alts, I think this looks awesome.
It looks like it has much more potential as a platformer than Minecraft. Platforming doesn't work well in first person.
Also, the boss monsters look really fun.

Yeah, basically what happened to me, lol. When I'm passing the two hour mark and still feel like a total noob, then that's a SERIOUS learning curve.arragonder said:

Minecraft has built it's reputation as being a vertual lego-land with exploding rotting penises that destroy your stuff.
