Fuck this, it's not worth spending $100 on a game that I'll play for three days.

No, literally three days. Guess why. :p

I'm mostly curious about two things:

1. Is it balanced for lean this time?

2. Will there be dedicated servers?

;) =P

FUCKING
FLASHBACKS!
That was really on Black Ops. There was only one flash-back in MW, none in MW2...
He was referring to Black ops.

Me likey.
Yes, i want to play it, bad. The trailer was a bit generic, but screw that, i bet there will be moments of awe when everything explodes and some slow-mo moments as well. And that is what i want from COD.

That'll do, pig. That'll do.

Looks fucktardedly stupid and absolutely fantastic.
I don't want realism in my games, I want insanity and before the MW series the series was a bit of a tease to either realism or unrealism (e.g. regenerating health and general plot). Now the trousers are down and what has come out is the gameplay which will be stupid, mindless and actually fun

Am I the only one bothered how Russia can be fighting the whole NATO force alone and still be winning?

I know that the story in COD games takes a back seat, but... come on...

I'm looking forward to the campaign of this. I've always loved the CoD games' campaigns, MW2's confusing one included.

The multiplayer will probably just turn out to be another rage-inducing, unbalanced mess like the last two entries, though.

I love how they've got all these set pieces and locals, but you can guarantee that the gameplay is going to be cookie-cuttered over from the first MW game. I wouldn't mind that the graphics haven't come on much if they were improving the gameplay to compensate for the Michael Bay plot :/

IN CAS3 IT HASN'T B33N DRILL3D INTO YOUR H3AD Y3T...

THIS IS THE THIRD ONE!

While yer at, why not rotate '3' to replace 'M' and 'W' as well, eh?

Graphics look positively 'bleh', and you need to show me more than some scripted events and set pieces to convince me.

You know even though I basically suck at FPS games and hated the premature, plot hole riddled, American power fantasy that called itself the story of MW2 with a passion, these trailers are still made well enough to get me somewhat excited.

Ah well, maybe the world can live with another game equivalent of a stupid action blockbuster. As long as it is fun, I guess. Just please, whoever makes this game (I think I lost track by now) if you want to connect your beautiful set-pieces, put a little bit more effort into it than just "We analysed the bullet casing by looking at a video feed and followed its trail to Brazil to a guy who has basically nothing to do with all of this, while the Russians, who have the original bullet casing, are too stupid to do so." Seriously that still sounds as if it's being silly on purpose.

But my god, people, you've got to admit that this series has become practically a parody of blockbuster action movies. It's not even trying anymore, they're just putting whatever set piece they can think up in their brains and slappin' it in the game by now!
You say that like it's a bad thing. Yeap, I know I'll be enjoying this ridiculous, over-the-top 'splosion fest. Just turn my brain off and start shooting. I mean, I like some of Micheal Bay's movies. Go figure.

Then again, it's coming out around TES: Skyrim. I doubt I'll have the time for MW3, especially if the campaign ends up being really short again. I'd rather spend my (by then little) money on a game that's going to last me quite some time.

FLASHBACKS!
Isn't there one flashback maximum, per game? Though, looking at it written it is a little ridiculous.

I did, I'll admit, always like the cod series single player. Always epic, stupid but ultimately harmless fun...unless you try veteran. Thank god I'm not all that into achievements. As for story, the cod 4 story was believable enough, as was world at war. Mw2, however, was a micheal bay movie mess trying to be serious, whilst black ops almost felt intentionally ridiculous, which I liked. How will this fare? Remains to be seen. Good parts: probably more price. Bad parts; more americanised soap. Damn stupid Mohawk...

Looks spectacular, though, that much is certain.

Heres hoping they keep black ops multiplayer standard. A decent mix between ott perks and killstreaks and good enough balancing.

I'll quote myself from the YouTube video:

I'm actually interested in this game.
I never played MW, and MW2 was a mixed bag that didn't work as well as it could have.
I have hopes that this will be better than MW2, but we'll just have to wait and see.
That's all I really have to say on this, apart from "Wait and see for a gameplay trailer."
