It's Bethesda. Yes, you can expect lots of bugs.Nomanslander said:So another words we can expect....well, a lot of bugs I'm guessing...-_-
I thought it was obvious I was exaggerating to explain my point. I suspect it is unlikely to literally melt mid range PCs, but a demo or benchmark would still be helpful so that people can figure out just what kind of jet engine their computer will sound(or maybe help them fully realize it is time to upgrade their system if they want to get the most out of the experience).SmashLovesTitanQuest said:I sincerely doubt Skyrim will come anywhere near melting mid range PCs.SomebodyNowhere said:No demo on a game that will most likely melt your PC is a bad idea. They should at least release some kind of benchmark or something so that people know what they're getting themselves into and if their rig should be able to handle it(system requirement specs just don't quite cut it when it comes to judging the actual games).
Exactly. You can't really demo a game where you build your own character...Richardplex said:RPGs aren't the best games to demo really, so it's not really surprising, or a problem.
Yes you can. Most recently, Dragon Age II had a demo and I think the character creator was in the demo. Even if Bethesda doesn't want to put a character creator in the demo, they can still put out a demo with a pre-made character.Krinku said:Exactly. I was thinking more along the lines of a full world thing. You can't really get into it if you're limited and don't have much room to explore. There's no room for actually getting to fun parts like quests, exploration, stat customizations. and etc.Crono1973 said:Yes you can. Now the excuses for Bethesda's laziness are just getting ridiculous.
What next "You can't really make a demo of a game with swords in it". LOL
Not true .. many open world games had very good demos that are an appetizer for players to what the full game will offer .. from Infamous 2 to Just Cause 2 and many more.Krinku said:I was thinking more along the lines of a full world thing. They have updated the Engine...castlewise said:Yeah, Skyrim is going to be full of bugs. With any luck the majority of them won't break the gameplay.Crono1973 said:2) Bethesda games are some of the buggiest in the industry. We need more demos, not less especially from companies who put out buggy games that their community has to write patches for.![]()
