It's just not Obsidian, it's the whole game industry. Obsidian is just a perfect example of shipping games unfinished.
Only the Japanese, Blizzard and Valve still launch their games in a reasonable state.
If the management at Obsidian and Bethesda had any sense at all, then instead of launching the game at this date, they'd tack on a month of just playtesting, bugfixing and polishing and just forbid the devs to add any new features in that period.
Great reviews instead of average scores and more people willing to buy it immediately instead of trying the bargain bin.
