hello all. I'm looking for a old dos game from the early nineties or late eighties. it was a 2d platoform game in which you could switch between 3 robots, one was a robot dragon, one was a robot on tracks (johnny nr5 like) and one was more a human robot. I remember it being a very hard game. And altough it was 2d platform it was more puzzles then action/shooting. each robot had his own specialties that you needed to advance to the next screen. any help is welcome.

regards Hans

I remember it was very similar to audiosurf in the way it worked/looked. No music import, just a puzzle racer where you controlled a ball and tried to get to the end of a generated track of obstacles. Black/gold/red-ish look, REAL simple principle, i think it was around the year 2005, single player. Users could try to beat the speed high score in which you beat each track, they get more and more complicated. I am pretty sure the ball was controlled with the mouse. It's a 3D game.

This is a long-shot, I will probably get laughed at (and I should lol).

So my friend was asking me if I knew about any games that her daughter may like. I remembered playing room/home design type game on PC a few years back (it was probably released between 2005-2012 I'd say).

The jist of the game was you had to arrange furniture on squares on the floor. I think you had to coordinate colours or something. You moved from room to room, and client to client. It was very cartoon-ish, and pretty girly. I probably would have downloaded it from a site like iwin, or big fish games.. something like that. I really want to say the word "design" was in the title, but I could be way off. I do remember the lady. Older with grey hair (maybe) and red winged glasses. I don't even care about the games anymore... it's just driving me nuts that I can't remember what it is, or find traces of it ANYWHERE!!!!!!

Thanks for your time! :)

Hey, nothing wrong with a little casual game to mix things up.

You're looking for "Eye for Design" (2008).

It was a boardlike game. U raced in Europe and tried to come first to different cities. U had specialcards or something that could sabotage for other players, or boost ur move. Have some memories of always computer controlled player , "an evil man" in a balloon and a tophat that cheated and stuffs. Cant really descibe it better.
This is "Dr. Drago's Madcap Chase"(1995).

When I was a kid, I used to play a mech based game( not sure ps1 or ps2), the mech is kind of similar to xenogear or gundam kind of design, and I remember the final boss which is a white mech and he had a skill that cause big slash, and the fight occur at the space. The other thing I remember about the fame was one of the battle occur at some rocky place where u get a new character (the play style similar to Super Robot Wars) and when the new character enter battle scene, his green mech(I think) bend down a little and stabilise his mech leg by widen it, then it shoot a big long laser power, that?s all I remember, hope u guys could help me up with some suggestion. Thank you and much appreciate for any suggestion and forgive me for my poor English level
Was it Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner?

Okay this has been bugging me for years, there was a game I played that I'm almost positive it was for PS1, it's so cloudy that I don't remember any of the actual gameplay, but I remember the character select had an option between both a male and female, the male on the left and the female on the right, and after you chose one or the other, your character would turn around and run into the door or wall (or possibly gravestone?) or whatever it was behind you, and then your game would start. The female had some sort of long staff weapon and I feel like it may have been a zombie/mutant fighting game although I could be very wrong.

Are you sure it was the woman who had the staff? 'Cause if the man had the staff and the woman had a sword, you'd be describing Nightmare Creatures [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtD1NcGGyDE]. =)

OK so I played this game alot as a kid and I've been looking for it all over the internet for the past few years with no success, but maybe I'll get lucky here :D
Sadly, I don't remember much. I'm pretty sure it was a PC horror game, a third person shooter with a male protagonist and the enemies were vampires or demons or zombies (or maybe even humans), I'm not sure about this, I just know they were human-sized and the player killed them with a gun. The thing I remember the most was a cutscene at the beginning of the game, which was in a church and I think it was a wedding (not sure, might have been something else) with the protagonist in it. It was in 3D and the graphics weren't bad, so I don't think it was made before 2000, but it definitely wasn't after 2010, so somewhere inbetween that. Also if I remember correctly, most of the game happened somewhere underground or in a building, I remember going through halls and doors and rarely outside. Also the loading screen was some kind of a huge mutated monster with tentacles or something, I think.. I remember nothing about the plot, since I'm not a native english speaker and the game was fully in english which I didn't understand back then.

If someone knows, please let me know, I'm dying to find it :<
I guess its ShadowMan
Nope, I think the graphics were a bit better.

May be its Call of Cthulhu. Bcos the huge mutated tentacles monster is the main boss of the game.
Looks similar, but it's not it. The game I'm looking for was thirdperson and it had a cutscene in a church (this is important). I'm seriously losing hope of finding it :D

Could it have been Parasite Eve?

Hello there, help me find a game!
It was a 2D side camera game, with an "open world" (level where you needed to explore), where you needed to kill zombies/bandits/smth. Full of puzzles, quests, first location was a town with skyscrapers and church with, as I remember, good underground ways system where you started the game.
You could visit almost any place in this town, and at some point you walked to a desert camp with people, where they gave you some kind of quest (I stopped playing at this point because I was stuck)

I'm out of ideas, nobody of my friends remember this game :S Thank you!

Hi, this one is very vague sorry. So I remember playing a game on Windows that had either a fantasy or medieval theme. As you approached a certain building (a palace or throne room, or something like that) a guard would tell you to put away your weapon. If I remember correctly if you walked past with your weapon drawn the guard would attack you. I played this before 2005. I'm not sure but it may have had an inventory that looked similar to Diablo 2's but that may just have been because I played that around the same time.I think the game had either a 3rd person or 1st person view, not isometric. Don't have my hopes up that anyone knows what this is as I was young at the time and may have imagined this all. Thanks.

OKAY. I've been looking for this game for maybe like 4 years and I can't seem to find it. It had this cute little guy who almost looked like Gumby but I don't think he had legs. He is was a very cartoony point and click game roughly in the early 2000's on PC. He was in a haunted house and you had to find items I guess. I played this when I was maybe 4 or 5 and I'm 18 now if that helps. Only part I remember was the kitchen were there was a set of stairs on the right, a sink in the back, and I think like a vent that transported him to different parts of the house on the right of the stairs. It wasn't scary and it looked more kiddy with no blood really but it may of had a good little kid scare here and there though. Pleaseeeee help me find this. I always think I get close to finding it and then it's not the right game..

Hey don't know if this has been guessed yet but I vaguely remember this game I used to play on GameTap in the mid to lat 2000's
-It was for sure a 2D platformer
-I think the main character was a boy
-There were bosses in it
-Had 8bit-ish graphics but they looked good(at least that's how I remember)
-I can sort of remember having to restart the whole game when you died or something similar
-I vaguely remember the final boss being two flying vampire things
-I can't remember how you killed enemies but it might be by shooting
-I feel like the graphics were similar to Kirby in the way the bosses and environment was done
-Had very good music(again that's how I remember it)
Sorry for my bad memory
Please help me find this it has been killing me for months

Since you mention the cut-scene in church, I've only seen one game like it and it is "Blood"

Guys, I have been trying to remember the name of the game for the longest time, but I can't. I remember there was a rectangular box and you had to control it without it falling off the borders & at the end, it had to fall through a quadratic hole. So you had to rotate the box the whole way so that at the end it will fall inside the whole. :D omg I am so bad at explaining, hopefully, you can help me out! ;)
Its Bloxorz, a flash game.

Hello, everyone!! I have been searching for the name of this game for years and finally gave in and decided to ask some experts rather than relying on my own Google prowess (since it seems to not work after all).

What I can remember of the game is this:

-Browser based/Flash game, has its own website ala www.nameofgame.com
-First-person Adventure/Point and Click/Escape game
-When typing in the URL the first image is a black screen and then a tropical island/ocean which, once you click, takes you to the first screen of the game
-Photo-realistic images/graphics
-Scenes included: tropical island/beach, dune area with lighthouse, jungle area with Aztec/Inca/Mayan-esque temple, interior of said temple, dock view looking down the dock on the ultra blue ocean at a tiki type hut (brown grass-thatched roof)
-Objective, from what I can remember, was to escape the island, although I do not remember much of a story line, only remember having to solve puzzles. Two distinct memories are: being inside the temple and having to place gems somewhere/rotating portions of the wall to get out of the temple into the next scene and being on the dock and finding out there was an area on the screen to the left that if clicked took me to a zoomed in view of one of the posts (as if I had turned to the left) on the dock that held a clue for the next puzzle
-Played sometime between 2001-2006
-May have required payment to play full game after completing a few puzzles/scenes, although do not quote me on this as I may have just gotten bored at the time and stopped playing
-Another thing on which not to quote me, but I could swear that the name of it had the word "quest," the name of some jewel or gem, OR some variation of the word "paradise" in it
-I had just finished Mystery of Time and Space at the time and MOTAS was my introduction into the point and click/escape genre; I was hooked, and I believe I may have found out about this game through the MOTAS guestbook or a MOTAS forum/blog

Throughout my searches I have come across many similar games that are not the one for which I am looking, so I can tell you it is none of the following: Myst (or any sequel or variation thereof, although the game is incredibly Myst-like, and is most likely a copycat/clone that came out at exactly the same time as Riven or one of the other sequels), Machinarium, Samorost, The Longest Journey, Syberia, any of the Monkey Islands or Mysterious Islands, Lost City, Labyrinth of Time, 7th Guest/11th Hour, Journeyman, Witness, Dream, any of the Zorks, Atlantic, Miasmata, Amnesia, Gray Matter, The Secret of Grisly Manor, Nibiru, Gemini Rue, Paradise, The Dig, Neverhood.

Here's hoping I can finally lay 10+ years of searching to rest!
