There was an old Hack & Slash (I think so ^^) game:

- singleplayer, and multiplayer on one screen - it WAS NOT split-screen, there were a few players on one screen, sharing the same keyboard to play
- 4 (probably) characters to choose - one of them was archer
- I remember that you had to get SILVER and GOLD keys to finish the level
- I also remember huge amounts of SPIDER enemies
- there was a thief (goblin?) on some levels who was robbing you from all your stuff and you had to kill him to get it back
- view from the top center
- very dynamic
- the levels were in some castle
- in the name of the game was something like "divine" or "medieval" [I'M NOT SURE ;)], it's not divine/beyond divinity.
- I was playing it in 2002 probably

I'm just hoping that somebody's going to help me with getting the title of that game :]

There's this really old game I'm looking for, and I barely remember anything about it, which makes this so much harder :(

- But basically it's a game that was possibly released during 1999-2002
- It had really bad and charming graphics... think Space Funeral
- ^ It was low-res pixels if I'm not mistaken
- It's for the PC
- The main character had a red hat I think? He was a clown? I'm very muddy about this detail
- It was also an indie game if I'm not mistaken, but it was a whole series, like 3 or 4 games
- They were all very short, half an hour to an hour
- The game was VERY VERY trolly and had a very peculiar humor that I liked, i.e. you'd walk forward and try to avoid a trap pit, but instead the tile beside it was the trap pit, and so on... you also had to solve a puzzle or find an item on each screen
- It seemed bad "intentionally", I can't describe it any better way
- One part involved a maze that I could never figure out... it took place in a pyramid or a cave

It was either a Point'n'Click or you had to use your keyboard - but either way, there were no battles or anything

the title was also very misleading afaik, or strange

I'd be very thankful to anyone who could point me in the right direction... I used to play it all the time and had so much fun with it.

Edit: I think the title included the word TOMB, but Im not too sure!
Malcolms Revenge : Legend of Kyrandia Book 3 ?
That isn't it, but this looks just as fun!

Hay guys, ive been trying to remember a game that came out during my youth and i played all th time, i was obsesed with it. I tried googleing key words but as i aged i may have mixed up some of the details thus making my search mearly imposible. I hope you can help though.
Game was a virtual reality game, you wore a helmet and gloves and ankle stuff with sensors. Inside the helmet enemies (beleved to be power rangers enemies) would come after you, or as the technology allowed, 2D figure lights moving closer to you, and when it reached its closest light you had to respond to the attack by right kick, left punch, right punch, or right kick, whichever the light was for. (Hope not to confusing). Basically lights came towards you and you had to kill it by punching or kicking correctly. I beleve it was a power ramgers game but i think im mistaken. If you think you know the game or have a pic or need a more detailed explanation please mail me directly at [email protected]
Please help me, my childhood memories depend on you.

Hi

I'm looking for an old pc mech game from the late 90s. Here is a list of things that I can remember:

- There were planets to fight on and I remember a desert and ice one. It showed a picture of the planet in the loading screen

- I'm pretty sure it was first person view

- I think there was some thermal type thing you could activate and the screen went black with the mechs outlined in colour

- I don't remember there being a campaign

That's all I could remember

I remember playing a first-person point-and-click adventure game that had no color. It started off in a space ship; you would click on levers and doors to progress to that area. It wasn't a room escape or anything, there was no particular goal in mind. You just explored. You could go into mouse holes, kitchen sinks, really anything that looked like an opening could lead anywhere. Oh, and the game had no color, and I believe the spaceship was parked in a fish nebula. That is, the nebula was a giant fish. I appreciate any help finding the name of this game.
Any clue what system it was for? Or what era of PC you played it in?
PC/Mac game. Had to be before 1990, due to the dot-matrix printer look of the graphics. I keep thinking it was a LucasArts or Sierra game, but a search through a list of their games wasn't fruitful. I may have played it on an old Apple II.
That sounds like Cosmic Osmo.
You just saved me months of searching torment. Thank you!

Hi

I've been trying to find out the name of this game which I played around 15 years ago, I cannot remember much of it but this is what I can remember.

You went into a some castle to fight monsters.
You fought the monsters with weapon or with monsters of your own
To get your monsters you hatched them out of and Egg.
You could find the eggs around the castle and they were just as big as you and you jumped on the egg and cracked them with yours hands.
You could buy weapons and others things
You could buy a race track in the place you came from.

Sorry thats all I can remember, I hope someone recognizes this game.
Monster Quest?
No :/ Its bugging me so much, I can't even remember much of the game I just know that it was AWESOME, ha thanks anyway

I am trying to figuure out this old game for windows 3.1 which was a math game and all I remember I think was this guy with a red cap and I think blue coat and running shoes you had to control to walk around and you couldn't see his face. You had to answer math questions and this mad scientist guy was around doing something and there were locked doors so I am guessing yo need to get keys at a certain point....

OK, so what game is this? I can barely remember it, so bare with me. All I really remember, is some chick stirring a pot with bodies hanging from the ceiling around her. THen there is some guy in a cage, (I think he is in a rabbit suit but you see his face...). Those two people are shown in a cutscene, like an intro or something. Apparently, you got to pick your character, and you shot things, but the bullets were really slow. It's for the PSX (PS1), and I can't find it anywhere. My sister confirmed it, so I know it is a real game, and not just a really, REALLY weird dream. Does anybody have ANY idea what game this is???

hey guys, i dont know if anyone already mentioned this game but if you could please tell me what game it is i would apreciate it a lot. It's an old game maybe from the 90's or 80's i remember that the cutscene at the begin is of a party at a castle, you can see the king and the queen having fun, then it starts to get dark someone appears in front of the king and tries to attack him (you are the knight) the knight jumps in and tries to save him but the man that appeared in front of the king sends you back in time or something. next i remember that a wizard is trying to help you get the kingdom back, and that you can travel threw seasons if you stand on a circle. that's all i remember plz if anyone knows the name of this game tell me.

Hi! I'm looking for a game that I loved so much but forgot the name and can't find on the internet... somebody named tommijazz91 seemed to look for the same one:

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.166417-Old-Games-you-remember-playing-but-cant-remember-the-name-of?page=12#13163081

so I'm copying his text:

"It was a 4-players split screen, 2D view, and in each panel you could use a player: the players had different colours (red, yellow, blue, green) and you could dig, throw objects or bombs (balls of fire, rocks, etc.), build factories and trains, carts (where you could throw recources into), elevators, balloons etc. You could also dig into gold or others resources, or drown in the water if you dug through ice........In the main menu you could choose between some maps (one mostly with ice, another with earth, one with giant caves, etc.).
Controls for each player were on the same keyboard (one player was controlled by WSAD, another by arrows, another by numeric pad etc.) so you could play at least 2 players simultaneously. Fo example, if you press "W" the player jumps, "A-D" for left and right, but if you press "S" the player digs.

I used to play this game on a Windows 98, like 8-10 years ago :), and I don't have that pc anymore.

The graphics was way better than Dig Dug or mining-like games, but this game wasn't only about mining: you could do lots of things like build and ride things, etc."

And the others things that I remember:

- Every team had a boss who was screaming something at the end of the game. When you'd win, we'd sometimes sing "We are the champions... you are the loser, haha!!"

- I think every boss was in a corner of the map

- The goal was to kill the other armies of other color (racism!!)

- It was a really funny and humorous game, in a cartoony style. The caracters were like fantasy animals, but I dont remember it well...

Thank you very much to everybody who took the time to read this and tried to remember this game!!
Hope I'll be able to help others! Nice forum!

Its a long shot, but you could be mish-mashing together aspects of Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons & Oracle of Ages.
In the opening of ages, Nayru is singing, but the screen turns dark and she is taken away by Veran. Soon after you travel back in time to chase after her. The guy in the wizard hat, Ralph, is also looking for her, and sometimes helps you.
In the opening of seasons, Din is dancing, but the screen turns dark and she is taken away by General Onox in a tornado. You attempt to save her but are blown away. Later, you acquire the rod of seasons and can change the seasons by standing on a tree stump and swinging it.

There are so many similar points of interest to your description, but for all i know i could be way off and there might be a NES game that matches your memory perfectly.

Hey just joined this community and so happy to find others who love the classics :D This I have searched countless days for with no luck until I came across this site :D so I am looking for this game I am pretty sure it was either on Windows 95 or 98, Now all I remember from this game is being RTS alien based and one of the units looked like a toaster with a disc blade as a head ( lol Can't describe it better sorry :) ) which is used as a weapon as well ( I remember this being the enemy, I believe they were blue/purple and some yellow?. Also the resources where flower like which require to be harvested. There were also other alien type units with long arms which were cream-ish coloured but I am nots ure if I am mixing these with the Frythans on Seven Kingdoms :D Which btw is my all time favourite classic :DDD.

Anyone ever played this game?

I really hope anyone did...Need to play this game before the end of world tomorrow :pPPP

Cheers!

Hey guys,

I'm looking for an obscure Playstation 1 RTS.

It was very similar to Command and Conquer and Z. A top-RTS. I don't think the models were 3D like in Dune 2000, etc.

The game appeared to have a more fantasy/ science fiction feel to it.

I only played the demo, but I remember there being a 2player split screen mode on it (pretty cool at the time).

Strangely, I had a dream last night I was playing an old school RTS (I almost never play them these days) and it reminded me of it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

EDIT: AHA! No worries guys, I've found it. It was 'KKND Krossfire'.

That's probably Outnumbered! A Super Solvers Math Adventure.

Okay this is a weird educational game (I think) from maybe the early 2000's, it was about these four or five kids who are trapped on this island (I think) and the game is this whole quest, they start off having to travel over some weird lava thing, and then you split up and only play one or two characters at a time, I really can't remember much except one of the little mini quests is you are in a tent with this woman and it's been raining, and she shows you an old letter that was ripped up and you have to piece it together, it's vaguely historical or english based but I think other parts of it were supposed to be educational in different ways. I truly don't even know if this is a game that anyone except for my friend owned but I thought I would try.

hoping you all can help!

it was a "turn-based" game where i believe the player got so many steps per turn. i think it took place in/around a "country/rural" town - think farms and fields and woods. i believe the enemy was aliens that would be randomly spawned each new game so you couldn't learn where they would be and not go there or avoid them.
