Hey just joined this community and so happy to find others who love the classics :D This I have searched countless days for with no luck until I came across this site :D so I am looking for this game I am pretty sure it was either on Windows 95 or 98, Now all I remember from this game is being RTS alien based and one of the units looked like a toaster with a disc blade as a head ( lol Can't describe it better sorry :) ) which is used as a weapon as well ( I remember this being the enemy, I believe they were blue/purple and some yellow?. Also the resources where flower like which require to be harvested. There were also other alien type units with long arms which were cream-ish coloured but I am nots ure if I am mixing these with the Frythans on Seven Kingdoms :D Which btw is my all time favourite classic :DDD.

Anyone ever played this game?

I really hope anyone did...Need to play this game before the end of world tomorrow :pPPP

Cheers!

hey! i played a game not too long ago. i believe it was on my n64 emulator, or perhaps super nintendo emulator. or maybe it wasnt an emulated game. it was a 2D worms-like game. it was Free for all, and was not turn based. it had wacky weapons like a disco ball, a toaster, a pinata i think, and u could use a grappling hook. there were presets for weapons too, like one was all food weapons, like a turkey that exploded or somthing. or a bunch of party themed weapons. the terrain wasnt destructable, and the only map i remember is like a mansion. it was not liero or any DOS games...

please help!

It is vero old playstation (but I am not sure, maybe it was pegasus) game.
The main character was blackhaired guy with scar on his face and he had wings.
In the beginning other people destroy/breake his wings and push him into the abyss.
And I do not remember anything else :<
Can you help me searching the name of this game?

Hey Guys!

I dont remember a game that I used to play when I was child. It was around '98 or maybe 2000.
I only play with the demo version of the game. You could choose from different caracters (an ALIEN, MONKEY, KENGUROO, and I remeber to a woman or something).
In the first level you had to climb on a big building to reach the helicopter on the top. You had to race.
You could throw things to each other while you was climbing.
Thats all I remember. Thank you if you can help me!

ITS - X-Decathlon ;)

You are welcome. Found it by typing kangaroo alien in polish ;D

So i need some help finding a game, like everyone else on here :p. It's a strategy game for pc, where you build cities, build an army, command your forces, etc. I THINK it was turn based, but it might not have been, it was fairly similar to Age of Mythology though. You could pick from several races, like 8 or so, including orcs, goblins, nomads, etc. The two most notable things i remember about the game is that every map had two layers, an above ground layer and an underground cave layer that you could enter. another notable thing is that the nomad race's cities where tent-looking structures, and you could actually pick them up and move them. It was an awesome game, it was for pc, but im not sure what operating system, i just know it was pretty dang old, possibly windows 98. Any help would be AWESOME!

Hello. I'm looking for PC game 96-2000r.
You can control from 1 to 6-8 yellow blob or egg that gathers resources and builds workshops, it can also plant and eat tomatoes and some fruits, the game is a pc 3D eagle eye view. I remember that there were bulldozers (on higher level) that can kill your yellow creature if You make mistake:D
When they eat tomatoes they said: " Mniam mniam i eat finish" :). Funny game. Goal is to survive and move creatures to X point.

Yet another member that joined just for this thread :p

Okay, so I've been trying to remember the name for this old PC game for almost a year now. It was a third person shooter type with a fixed viewpoint as far as I can remember. You were constantly looking down a dark tunnel. I remember there were spiders that would crawl out of the darkness (you could see their eyes in the darkness because they were glowing red). When you shot them they would pop out some kind of green goo (I may be wrong though), but if you didn't manage to shoot them before they got too close they would jump at you (which scared the crap out of me) and the screen would glow red as a sign that you took injury (I believe, I might be wrong on this too).

This is all I remember from the game, Literally! I hope this is enough to get some help

I think I'm remembering a Mac game, but I'm not 100% sure. It was definitely on an old white computer in the mid-1990s. After 1995 probably, but earlier than 1998 for sure. There were very simple drawings of monsters or aliens in bright colors, maybe with human characters too. I remember on character would always say "Cheerio!" and my brother and I got a huge kick out of it. I vaguely recall there being a waiting room, maybe in a dentist's or doctor's office, with characters sitting around and a water cooler. I've got nothing else. It might be one of those games that comes preset on the computer but I'm not sure. Thanks!

Hello all, there was this really old pc game that i had on a 99 games in one cd,
Basically it was a color platformer in which you where a green alien that crashed his ship (i believe his name was gizmo?) it featured some very creative art style, as well as the iconic motherboard sound effects. most likely from the 90's.
Did the alien have suction cup hands? I can't remember the name of that game! Dangit!!!
Yes he did!!! I want to know what it was *pout*

WAIT WAIT! I FOUND IT! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmo's_Cosmic_Adventure

Hi There! Here's one for you! If anyone can help, I'd love to play this again! I've been thinking about it for weeks (and appeasing my sorrow with the games "Stars!" and "Castle of the Winds").

This was a shareware game - OK, so the game really gets your attention with the intro: It's very anime style, and you're watching a man running through the woods, I think a bubble pops up from his head to show he's thinking about his wife and child. At the end he sees that his city is on fire (I'm reaching here) and goes psycho.

At that point, you get to play!!! The game is you (the man) flying around in a little jet (think Raptor: Call of the Shadows) only you can go all over a map and not just straight into the onslaught like many shoot-em-ups. You fly from island to island (all bird's eye view), dog fighting, dropping cluster bombs (my favorite!), etc. There were several different bomb types, enemies and playable ships too (I think). I believe that certain islands had bases you could land on to reload and repair.

The maps took a long time from what I can remember, and were fun and challenging. One last thing that rings a bell - one of the enemy ships was called a "Sharky" and looks like a hammer head. I think I remember getting to fly it, and it's turning sucked soooo bad!

Ring any bells? Surely someone else has played this amazing game!!! :)

This is all based on the shareware version, so who knows if it even had the same name as the full version? For example, I remember "Halloween Harry" and "Alien Carnage" were pretty much synonymous games with different names.
I found it!!! ZONE 66. So rad! You have to try it! :-D

I'm hunting 2 old PC games.
One was called adventure island or something along those lines and it contained something like 4 minigames that you could play. One was a grandstand with little creatures that you had to manipulate to empty the grandstand (I think). One other was a plane game where you had to order the planes to fly, do tricks and land in a particular order. Another minigame was one of those 'Here's a series of pictures, now spell the word'. The last one I remember was a mystery one where you had to find out who stole something or something like that.

The other game I swear was called ZAP! or something like that. You had to do several different puzzle games all related to electricity, light or sound to unlock cool features on this mix board. One of those mini-games involved pointing lasers through mirrors of different kinds to get the light to focus on a particular point.

If you guys can find these games I would be greatly thankful.

Hi there, ive been searching for a name to a game i used to play for the last few days. Its been driving me mad. I was a game from the late 90s/ early 00s.
It was set in like a desert, with a population that you grew where you could build buildings and houses, i think if there was a lake or river near by you could build a fishing port or something and also build quarries and mines. Kind of remember the people being aborigines if that helps. Really frustrating that i cant remember the name but was about 12 years ago. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be? I have been told populous, settlers and age of empire but its definitley none of those.
If anyone knows would a great :)

Hi Guys,

Recently I've been trying to remember a PC computer game I was playing in the mid 1990's (around 1995, I think ?). The clearest memory I have is of flying above a planet surface and having to explore. Sometimes I would have to shoot monsters (green plants ?) and would also find, I think, minerals, clues...etc. I seem to remember then going back to my base (in space or on another planet), where I was doing research. I also seem to remember that somewhere in there, as we explored the star system, that there was a danger from an (advanced alien) presence in the middle of the galaxy ? Like I said, the clearest memory is flying over the planet surface and exploring, and sometimes shooting, but that wasn't the whole game. Any suggestions ??? Thanks !!

- Gerrit

ps And yes, I've read through about 70 pages of posts here, but haven't found it yet....

There is an old ps1 game I remember playing the demo of when I was a kid. On the demo it would start off where your running down a hill with a huge bolder behind you your running away from and your character has blue hair and has a samurai sword and kinda looks like a samurai anyways after running away from it for a few mins you get to a castle where there's this girl and a man who has her captured and your character seams to already know the girl anyways the man captures you in a ring of fire and then the game shows you what attack to do to get out of it and after that the man runs away with the girl and then this boss appears from the cealing (by crashing through it) and the boss has four legs and looks like it is made of rock or maybe steel and to damage him you have to hit his legs till he falls on all fours and you then hit him between the legs then after you beat him the demo ends. Done anyone have any ideas on what this is called if you do please let me know! Thanks
