This game I can't find anywhere on google. You were in hovering vehicles that would race on a track suspended off the ground. Pretty fast paced game. You could shoot missles and drop mines. If you lost, there would be a video that said "you should try a different game, like chess." Also, between races, there would be advertisement videos. One of the videos was for a pizza joint where they deliver your pizza on a flying machine and cut a slit in your wall at your house to slip the pizza in. It said "the fastest pizza on the planet" in an italian voice. The game was on windows 95.

this game sounds familiar... didn't it come on one of the graphics card driver CD's or something? I will have to check mine (still have them I think).

I have a few old games in mind in case someone was looking for them coincidently:

Seven Kingdoms:Ancient Adveseries
Dark Reign
Sacrifice
Myth
Dark Colony
Dark Omen
Dungeon Keepers II
Majesty
Giants Citizen Kabuto
Gothic
Settlers
Monkey Island
Never Winter NIghts
Silver
Master Of Olympus and Master of Atlantis
Battlezone II

Perhaps it helps some people find their all time favorite Classic :D I know how frustrating it can be, I also have almost all these games above and tested them with windows 7 and all work, always try the compatibility setting for each game, However investing in an old Laptop with XP works the best :D

Hi,

I've been going crazy looking for an educational game from my childhood.
In this game you could go mine out words with similar meanings, go fish out similar sounding words, pair up synonyms on a carrot farm and there may have been some other ways to learn words if I remember well something with chicken eggs. And most importantly there was a RABBIT that helped you or at least was always on the screen doing the mining, fishing, etc.
If someone knows the name of this game PLS PLS help. Eathir it was a DOS game or an early Windows one.

Thanks in advance

Hey guys hope you can help me out a bit :)
The game was for PS1 but I only played it as a demo

It's a mech game, where you're piloting a mech looking somewhat like a spider. I do believe it was 3rd person shooter. All I can remember was climbing around on houses and walls and blasting off the enemies.
sounds like Ghost in the Machine

as the story goes i remember this game, it was rather old i think it was from about 2000s, about 32-64 bit top down rpg were you are trying to find the swords of light and dark then mix them to make the one sword that could kill the 3 headed dragon, the sacrifice for killing the dragon was that you would have to stay there forever making sure it never revived, i think you also turned to stone , it involved many characters were you could "evolve" them if you leveled them enough causing massive change in character, i remember one being wolfish, you yourself are a standard light haired headband wearing nameless hero, i remember playing it on a laptop about 2004 or so, tiny disk, also some items were "cursed" so you couldnt remove them without the "appraiser", also when attacking it switched to an "Action scene" displaying your attack similar to how pokemon does it, anyone know what game that would be? thanks in advanced
Shining Force 1 on the Genesis/Megadrive. You can play this on the Genesis/Megadrive collection released for PS3/XBox360

it was a "turn-based" game where i believe the player got so many steps per turn. i think it took place in/around a "country/rural" town - think farms and fields and woods. i believe the enemy was aliens that would be randomly spawned each new game so you couldn't learn where they would be and not go there or avoid them.
That's pretty vague, are you thinking of X-Com: UFO Defence? (1994).

I cannot remember the name of this game I used to play as a kid. It was for Sega Genesis. It started out with a boy in a classroom. He gets kicked out of school I think. Or ditches school and runs off on his skate board. Goes home to an angry mom. He has a messy room but I remember he has an Atari that you can play. I don't remember much more than that. I can picture it all in my head right now. Just can't think of the name! Please help!

I'm looking for a game I played between 10 - 15 years ago. It was kind of the same gameplay mechanics as asteroids from what I remember, you were a spaceship shooting enemies around the screen. But the goal of the game was to defeat fake viruses (could be completely wrong) which were in your computers files. The game generated a list of all files on your computer and you had to work your way through them - with each file or infected file being another level you had to complete.

Another forum member describes the same game but I couldn't find a reply where the game title had been figured out.

My brother an I remember a PC game from the 90s where you travelled through your computer's system files in a ship and tried to recover new files. You had to avoid virus-infected files and fight/ally with other ships you came across. If you saw two ships fighting one another and you helped destroy one, the ship you saved would become more of an ally. In contrast, the ship you destroyed (and his allies) would become more aggressive.

Also, if your ship was close to being destroyed, you could call an ambulance ship that would come pull you out of the level. There were some levels that you raced other ships in too.

Foes anyone know this game?
Anyway, that's about all I can remember, and I've been unable to figure out the title of the game after extensive searching. Any help would be greatly appreciated, although I guess modern hard drive sizes and file storage would make this game pretty much impossible to play these days.

*** UPDATE: Figured it out literally a couple of minutes after I posted this, it was called Operation: Inner Space - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation:_Inner_Space ***

This isn't an old game, but a request for a very specific kind of game. I have access to most recent and last generation or two gaming platforms.

Anyone know of an Olympics or similar event-based game with points awarded that allows you to name your teammates or at least assemble your own team? And/or a game where you can compete against yourself as different personas (meaning hot seat local multiplayer). See the following paragraph for an example.

In all honesty, I like role playing a commentator while I compete against myself in little skill events and get points for it xD. Last game I did this in was FlatOut 2 (or FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage); I'd name 8 players in hot seat party mode, then commentate my performance while trying to play like the person I named that player after. And of course there'd be rivalries, drama, close calls and triumph's of the human spirit.

This seems like a very very small niche, but does anyone know of a game where this stuff, like I mentioned in FlatOut 2, is possible?

P.S. Sonic and Mario at the Olympic Games seems like that kind of option, but it's too expensive to take the risk. Plus, it probably doesn't have local hot seat multiplayer, or does it?

Im looking for an Old pc game that I play in the 90s. Its was a 3D role adventure game that was about a ramdom guy who arrive to a village were there is a werewolf and other demons. Soon he realize that the devil have posses the village and you have to stop it and rescue a princes or something like that. I remember there were some weapons and a very heavy fullplate armor. If you used it you became very slow. But also have more resistance. there was also a dragon.
Then you finalywfind the devil he offer you a deal. To sell your soul or fight. If you sell it you end up in a hammock with to ladies giving you grapes. if you fighted and win, you rescued the girl and leave town on your horse.

Thats all I remember. Hope some one can help me to find the name of the game.

Regards

Hello,

I'm looking for a game that I used to play on the Playstation 1.
It's a sci-fi game, in the future.
It was open world if I remember, you were walking in a black suit (suit that looks like the one from star wars).
You were able to play the game with 2 players.
Game was 2D'ish if I remember well.
You could get in cars, kill people, see people walking.. kinda like GTA but then in the future
I'm looking for this game a while now can't remember the name at all...

Thanks in advance, hope someone knows which game I'm talking about ;(

I am trying to figuure out this old game for windows 3.1 which was a math game and all I remember I think was this guy with a red cap and I think blue coat and running shoes you had to control to walk around and you couldn't see his face. You had to answer math questions and this mad scientist guy was around doing something and there were locked doors so I am guessing yo need to get keys at a certain point....
That's probably Outnumbered! A Super Solvers Math Adventure.
Yup it sure is :D

Thanks!

I'm trying to remember the name of a PC game I played in the 90s for a short time. It was sort of a fantasy horror setting and there was an evil carnival inside the house. It was definitely a hack 'n slash. The graphics were fairly realistic and very blood splatteringly gory. One of the characters was a barbarian. A few levels in there were naga women in the dungeon. Anyone have any idea what this game was?
A funhouse, nagas, and gore? You might be looking for Deathtrap Dungeon.

I'm looking for a game that came out around the 90's. It has RPG elements to it. You could create a char and make him/her a warrior / mage, the mage could choose from earth and lightning powers.

Your char started off in a random village and you couldv do quests for the citizens. Some quests made goblins attack the town, every quest had different levels, no requirements for any of them. You could buy armor and weapons from merchants aswell. You could travel to a desert village, which always seemed to be up north along the west side of the map.

I've been looking for this game for ages but I cannot remember what it is called.

Hi

I'm looking for an old pc mech game from the late 90s. Here is a list of things that I can remember:

- There were planets to fight on and I remember a desert and ice one. It showed a picture of the planet in the loading screen

- I'm pretty sure it was first person view

- I think there was some thermal type thing you could activate and the screen went black with the mechs outlined in colour

- I don't remember there being a campaign

That's all I could remember
maybe too obvious but... Mechwarrior?
