This has been driving me nuts!
So it was a demo on a PS1 demo disc and the game was very pretty and colorful. You had the choice of either playing as a girl or a boy. The girl had chakram like weapons and she could cast magic and the boy could turn into animals. Going along you encounter a girl being attacked by two men and when you apprehend them, they have pretty foul language. You fight them and beat them. You can climb up a really long staircase up to a house/shop thing in the sky where you fight a giant beast, and this is where the demo ends. The style is a bit like Final Fantasy or kingdom hearts, but its a pretty old demo, maybe 2000, 2001? Very colorful. Please help thanks!

I'll apologize in advance for the long post and random details, but I was very young when I played this game and my memory is fuzzy, but I desperately want to find it as I loved it so much as a kid.

I played this game as a kid probably in 2nd or 3rd grade, which would've been about 10 years ago, but it could've been earlier. I'm 99% sure it was on the Playstation 1. It was a monster catching game, where you had a number of monsters and sent out only one at a time. The battles were turn-based and occurred on a different screen than the one you moved around on. In battle it showed your character, and the monster in battle would be in front of you, and the others would be in a sort of circle around you, so to switch them they would just sort of rotate around you. I THINK, that part is a bit fuzzy. I distinctly remember one monster that was a purple lizard that walked on 4 legs and could ONLY heal, and when it evolved it stood on two legs. The main character had a sort of "dark side" that would occasionally take him over in battle and use a strong combo, but besides that only your monsters could attack. Near the end of the game your character got a pair of white wings and the dark side couldn't appear anymore. There was some sort of system where you could hatch new monsters from eggs, and I think you could perform some sort of fusion with two eggs, but I'm not sure. The art style was fairly dark, and it was 3D. If anyone has ideas on what this game could be I would be so, so, SO appreciative!

Seriously need help with this one, guys. Okay so the game is an old Nintendo game and the characters are all pixelated. I remember tid bits of the opening sequence so here I go. The main character is a boy from a small village who lives with his grandparents and he also plays the flute (he has orange air and wears blue) One day he comes home to see a girl with black hair and a pink dress with a pet pig at his house. She says she travels or something and your grandparents let her stay for a while. Later on some knights come over to your house and take her away then you find out she's actually a princess. Before they take her though she makes you promise to find her and rescue her. So you go to the castle and try to convince the king and queen to let her be free but no matter what you say they throw you into the dungeon and from there you have to fight monsters to get out. that's pretty much the opening fight. You also meet what I think is a fair and she has blue hair. And you also talk to this gigantic head statue that kinda looks like Medusa and that's your saving point. Also you can change into different characters like you can change unto this powerful knight with long blonde hair and also this creature that can phase through the floor. Oh and I remember the main characters name: Will. The princess is Kari the fairy is lily and there's also some more side characters too. Please help meeeee I loved that game when I was a child!
Definitely "Illusions of Gaia"

the first game I thought of was jade cocoon 2. It has similar mechanics and he is cursed by evil.

I remember playing a game when I was younger the main character was named Jimmy or timmy and each level you chose hed start with "Hi Im Timmy/Jimmy!) You could change the color of his outfit or bowlcut.
One level was like a museum and there were slide puzzles but the most fun level was the physics one!
The physics level sucked you into a game where you are a ball and its sort of like golf but with platforms and you had to adjust gravity and even the material of the ball (when mad id change it to glass and break it haha) couild also be changed to rubber or stone i think?

Another game was way too confusing for me at the time but id watch my sister play. I think there were a few versions of this but you were a scientgis and you would take samples of sea weed then put it in test tubes and see what would happen and i remember there being an intercom system of a girls voice that would say stuff like Check out the observation deck (almost in the voice from the teletubbies with the pipe that comes from the ground hahah)

Any help would be appreciated both were educational games and its driving me nuts i cant remember them

hi, found this thread on google and signed up just for it. got 2 games.

1) this old educational pc game from either the late 90s or early 2000s where you walk around a house filled with stuffed teddy bears and you can click on each one and they say something. one particular part i remember was a grandfather clock and if you click on the pendulum it turns green and says something like ?all this swinging is making me sick?
the game was pretty bad iirc and one time it glitched up and all the colors were negative and then i had nightmares. it might have been only for australia/new zealand but who knows....

2) this game on the old apple system 7 os (all i remember was it was black and white) where your character is a horse i think (it was on the splash screen too) and you go around a maze and i think you answered questions? it seems pretty bad but i never got a chance to play it and like all the older kids from other classes used to come in and go on the computers so that our class never actually got a turn.

thanks to anyone that knows these and i hope i can try help others find games too

This is a really weird one.
I played it when I was really young in the late 90's but it's probably older than that, I think my grandfather gave it to my family when he gave us his old Mac. It was a black and white, point and click, flash game. I remember that it had really minimal sound design and was really trippy. It was POV as a person wandering around this maze-like series of rooms. At one point you encountered a rabbit in a waste coat and you may have played chess(?) at one point. A very solid memory I have is of getting onto a gondola and going the wrong way, ending up in a bathtub, and going down the dragon of the bath tub. As a kid I was perpetually confused about what I was supposed to do but I kept going back. All of the animation had a Victorian feel, it may have been Alice in Wonderland themed but if it was it was definitely based on the novels not the movies. I think there was a walrus. This has been bugging me all day, I've even had my little brother (who doesn't remember it at all) looking it up. If you guess this, you're a superstar. Help?
Wild guess....

Alice, Through the looking glass.

http://appletothecore.me/files/through_the_looking_glass.php
That's super close but not it! I'm sure it wasn't quite that old, it was definitely on CD-ROM. And if it was Alice in Wonderland themed it was more subtle. Thank you for the wild guess though!
pretty sure this is the manhole (original mac version, not the remastered one): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Manhole

Well there's this really old game that I don't have many clues about it but I'll try to explain it as best as i can. It's either 95's or 98's game.
Imagine something like the games where you have a little "bar" at the bottom of the page which prevents the ball from falling down. The game i was playing has the same thing but it prevents some little statues from falling down. and i also remember a green light at the left and a red light at the right of the screen.sorry for these messed up details.Thank you.

I remember playing this game. It probably came out in 2001-2005 sometime, so u could play it on win xp. It might be a demo of an FPS. So this is what i remember.

First you started in space around some planet on a bigger ship then your team goes into a smaller one with a woman logo on it(somewhat like kappa logo but only one woman and I belive it was a red woman in a yellow circle). Then the ship took of on that planet and you were on the ship playing when it was flying to the planet. You could even mount the minigun on the side of a ship. I remember going past some towers, when finally landing. When you land and go off the ship the pilot flies off and you team is on a dessert like planet with palms. Then you shoot mainly robots. Then a 300 meters away there is like a bridge. When going around a bit I once stumbled upon some little blue robbots that attacked me.

Thats all i remember. I hope some of you guys know this game. Thx :D
Do any of you know anything about it?

Mine is a PC game
-it was a racing/car building simulator
-it was on a blue disc with a red line and white lettering
-your vehicle could be customized in almost every aspect
-you could race computers for pink slips
-massive world
That is all that I can remember since I got it about 2005 and lost it a long time ago.

Hi, I might sound a little vague but, here I go.

This game was a NES game, not sure if a famycom hack or what. Known facts: this was a game completely in japanese. All kenjis all over the menus. The main character was a little dragon alike character (all white) and you should think in... Shy ghosts from super mario bros meets kirby. (But, it was white). The game mecanics was to defeat enemies, with a tail hit (similar to the one that the blue dragon in Islander games gave). The enemies dropped something (not sure if coins, white orbs or what). LAter on, with those orbs, the Character was able to BUY skills. One of the skills i'm positively sure it was the flying skill. While using this skill, the character simply moved its little tiny wings and moved in an horizontal straight line. Also, while doing this, he plucked its tiny tongue out of its mouth, as if it were a :p smiley.

There was food (japanese food) all over the screen, and i'm 100% sure, the game is not "Chery cherub".

The game was more like an rpg game, the difficulty was insane and this game is driving me nuts! please help!
