Hi!

Created an account just so someone could help me out!
It's a game a few yeas old - either on the iPad or PS2/Xbox? I can't remember the platform. BUT!
It was a musical game in a similar vein to Flower. It was simply animated with a white background and you were a dot or flower bud or something like that and you woke up sleeping dots/flower buds and they jumped and opened up vines to access more of the level.
You could fight a boss, too and I remember something like an vine/flower octopus? and you threw your dot/flower bud friends at it.

Game was super cute and simple and such.

Help!

VERY similar to Pixeljunk Eden & Eufloria.

Hey guys,
i have been searching for this one specific game. i can't really remember it well but i will try to explain it the best i can.

you are a woman with a sword (I think) and you start off in a field, next to you is a big yellow windmill house i think, or it a semi-buried wooden zepplin looking house. i think that when you enter this thing, there is an old man. there is a dungeon in front of you,not very far away. when you go in there, there are big monsters (maybe with Swords) and bats (not too sure). I don't know anymore then that, but i am hoping that you people will help :) thank you

not sure if you seen my post yet but im curious if your game was indeed Dark Cloud.

Okay this drives me crazy for a long time now.
The game I'm remembering was a car related SNES game. Unlike most of the car games back then, it wasn't driving races on tracks, it was more like a stock car pit fighting thing.
You could choose between like 10-15 different characters, all with their specifications (concerning weapons, health and stuff). I'm not quite sure what the goal was, but I think you had to bump enemy cars off the edge of the "map". Or destroy them somehow.

The characters were mostly not-human, if I remember correctly, but I know I found them hilariously funny back then when I was like 8yo. So maybe they had funny quotes or appearance, I don't really know...
I checked all the lists of car related SNES games I could find, without results. A friend of mine told me you could obtain a trophy in one of the SSB games, that would resemble a character of said game, but I couldn't find anything.

As I said, I checked a lot of lists, so I know it's not Battle Cars. And all the other car games I found where racing simulations, whereas my game isn't a simulation at all.
So maybe someone remembers it, since it's obviously quite unknown. Please, I want to know the name of that game. Maybe it's not even funny anymore, but I just need clarity.
Bump.
And I remember another game. It was kinda like Heroes of Might and Magic (an early one, like 2 or 3), but I swear it's none of them. Does someone know another game series similar to HOMM?
It wasn't Rock n Roll Racing?
No, definitely not. I'm 100% sure you weren't driving a track, it was more like roaming freely in a specific area. And the characters stuck out of the cars like in Super Mario Kart, so that you could see them.
Whacky Wheels or Skunny Cart?
Close, really close. I think the characters were humanoid, but not exactly humans. They were in some comic style drawn, pretty unrealistic.
But they way they stuck out of their cars is comparable to Whacky Wheels. So we're getting closer! As a reminder: SNES. Not Rock n Roll Racing. Pretty sure there were no tracks to drive laps, but drive freely in a squared arena thing.
Bumping once again. Come on guys, this game was hilarious! Someone else must have played it too!
Street Racer?
http://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/2011/03/street_racer_retro

It had a battle mode that didn't use tracks as well as the racing; "On offer is Rumble ? a dull affair where the aim is to simply knock opponents out of an arena "
THAT'S IT! Oh my god thank you so much!

i remember my neighbor gifted me the games disk
the games includes something like robots fighting (if i remember correctly with swords).
the robots were controlled by people and you travel as a group (i remember there were few female blond chars thats it)
-the back ground was like a picture of dust or grass running infinitly
-the characters out of battle were a little icon that represented their robot (usually the head).

on my old phone (os being bada) i remember having this game with the graphics being sprite based(very simplistic, all characters and enemies using only black pixels).
The main concept of the game was running while dodging obstacles. A very memorable feature being the fact that after a while you'd have to make a jump on either the wall or ceiling from which point on you'd have to turn your phone to play properly

Ok, I been searching for days with no luck fnding a match so I thought I'd try here.

This is a game from the 90's possibly very early 00's I was a kid playing this back then. It wasn't xbox or playstation since they dint exist then) I can only remember pieces what I do remember is

It wasn't 2d platform, it was looking down at character from a diagonal angle
it was sci fi genre type. Almost alien planet, I remember lots of plants all over the place as well as machinery
I remember that occasionaly while walking around the area you had platform tile crossings, where you have to work out a pattern to cross, it could be colour or shape, but get it wrong and these plant roots whack you.) There might have been other puzzles as well

I also remember a certain level, which I don't think I enjoyed as a kid. There were creatures, almost mud men, who would wander around the level, if they see you they slowly chase you, you cant kill them I remember that why you had to run. You can find temp things to disguise yourself as one to run past safely and I think you were after bits of pipe or bits of a machine. There were also safe spots where they couldn't get you

There was one Arcade game in the early 80's (I am guessing 1980-1984 range) that I cannot remember for the life of me. The only thing I remember is it had a green spaceship or drill on the surface (looked sorta like the Planet Express ship in Futurama in my memory). It was some type of space theme. Seems like it had a screen that was reminiscent of Dig Dug with part of it happening underground. Seems like it had some element of a Russian voice or maybe used cosmonauts somewhere in it ? Seems like it had a one word title (But again that was a lot of years ago). Not much to go on, but you never know ! Wasn't a great game or anything. Just bugs me that I can't remember the name of it !

Hi, it sounds like one of "Front Mission" game series. You could select weapons/equipments for the robots, right?

I used to play this game on the pc as a kid, must've been at least 10-12 years ago.
Though I don't recall many details, I know it was a fantasy game that was turn-based (probably). You took turns moving your character in an overworld, where there were enemies and npcs that you could fight or alliance yourself with. You could also conquer lands? I remember there were some dragons, and maybe you could change what kinda character you played as? For example, you could be a knight or a wizard, among other things. I think. I was pretty young. Any help is greatly appreciated, as I've been looking for this game for years!
It could be an old heroes of might and magic game. Maybe Heroes of might and magic 3. Check http://www.gog.com/game/heroes_of_might_and_magic_3_complete_edition

I take it nobody is aware of the game I posted about in page 454? Basically, a FREE RPG game. Did not mention that. And just to add to that, it was on Windows, you had a choice between a man and a woman whose entire bodies would cover the screen (at least halfway through I guess). There were goblins of different levels. And primarily that teleportation unit/building in the main town, it was played on a Windows PC. The game looked partly 3D (top view, isometric).
I'll just put this here to tell you what it isn't (I've gone through vast amounts of games and such)
Inquisitor, NoX, Neverwinter Nights, Avernum (those sequels too), Dungeon Siege, Arcanum of Steamworks/Magick Obscura among others. So yes, I've searched a LOT. Any kind of help would be appreciated. I've added many more details in Page 454 too so ANY kind of site to search or any hint of a name would be much appreciated.
Thanks
You have probably checked but since it is not on your check list - have you tried older diablo game?

I'm looking for a fairly old game which I remember playing in 2003 or so, but probably years older since I'd gotten it with Mame32. Sidescrolling fighting game I believe. There were 4 characters, two women and two men, fighting monsters and such. You could play as one of those four characters and beat things up. A level was set in a jungle and I think you could drive in a jeep at some point in it. In the final level you had to fight an insect-like creature which was called something like Obituary, or something else related to death. In the final cutscene two of the main characterS stumbled and were seemingly buried under a collapsing roof while the two survivors (dark haired woman, helmeted man?) managed to escape.

UPDATE: for those who care, the first game is CADILLACS AND DINOSAURS! I can't believe I found it again after all these years.

There was another good one too, you played as a medieval knight and you had to fight your way through in a castle. Some enemies were armored men with fish-heads wielding swords and maces. If you died the screen cut to an image of two men hanged in the rain.

Can anyone help me? It's been driving me crazy!

I am looking for a game that I played back in ~97 on SNES with floppy diskette. I never saw the actual cartridge or its cover photo. And, the game was in Japanese language which I could not read.

It is a strategy game in space where you need to conquer planets. It is probably turn base.

It is on 2d space (map) and there are planets on it (like X-Y graph). There were 4 groups of planets: blue, red, green and yellow (I think). You pick one of the colored group of planets) and play against 3 AIs. (I don?t remember if you can play against another player).

If I remember correctly, the red planet group is the smallest group of 4 but they are more powerful. There?s another group which is the largest but somehow weaker.

I think each group gets like 3 commanders/leader with ships which you use them to move around the space map to capture other color planet. Planets you have capture turn into your group color. Battle against another ship/commander/group is 5 vs 5 person to person battle ? not ships battle in space. I think they even use swords (not sure). The battle looks like battles from any classic Japanese RPG battle or like old Final Fantasy. You win when you capture all the planets.

Hope someone remembers this game. Thank you.
