Hi :)
I´m very long time looking for one game so I decided that I write here maybe someone will know. It´s a game like Command and Conquer, it was an older game. I think till about 2006. It was a bit of a 3D view but it was like from the corner, there were also tanks, robots, turrets (machine gun, flamethrower, and others) and bombers. I know that there were features such as the bomber that flew through the map and destroy the enemy's units. Or something like a helicopter, it consisted of three rings that have sent down fire rings.
It isn´t Perimeter, Earth: 2150 or Dune
Too close but not one of them. It´s also like Total annihilation but graphic is better like 3D
Sory for my bad English.

Hello,

Another game the bothers me from time to time:
It's RTS I played somewhere after 1997 in computer club. Pretty sure the computers where running Win 98.
The game is economy strategy so you have lots of resources to take care of like gold of course, stone, metal, coal, wood, food and most probably other suff.
You have to build appropriate mines to gather the resources. I remember the armies you build where quite massive and don't really remember having unit limit. You can build sea transport to conquer other lands.
One distinctive mechanic I remember is with the war machines. There was one war machine that is like a big roulette of gun barrels. It was kind of many cannons mounted in a circle. This thing could do great damage to infantry like killing 10-20 units with one shot but also the firing of these consumes great deal of resources (such cannon would consume metal and coal with each shot). Thus having too many war machines would exhaust the resources and make them useless
I believe the game world was in the middle ages or something like that.
Also if it's of any help the executable was named war.exe not really sure why I remember this but there it is.

And Lets also try this one again:
Old arcade game. I remember playing it in the early to mid 90's on coin-op machine.
It was a side scroller where character walks and can jump and hit boxes with his head for bonuses (It is not Mario please calm).
He could fight the enemies by shooting them and trapping them in bubbles. You have to jump on the bubbles to finish them or to reach higher places in the level.
I remember that in the very first level you had to trap several enemies and jump on the bubbles forming kind of bubble "ladder", in order to climb kind of pyramid with boxes in order to reach some reward on top. The reward may have been a star of some sort but I'm not sure. Probably giving extra life or weapon I don't remember.
Here is one additional detail that may move some brain cells here and there.
I remember that the first boss was about a screen size tall. Eventually my memory may be doing tricks and the boss to be half screen tall but in any case the main character feels really tiny compared to that thing.

Thank you.

Hello!

I've been hitting my head to the wall because I can't remember the name of a game and I stumbled upon this thread and I hope you can help me.

Ok, this is what I can remember, it was a PC game, windows 98 almost sure, it was a medieval first person game, I can remember it was from an educational tv channel like TLC or History Channel, but it was very fun! I'm not sure if you were a timer traveler or not, but somehow you appeared on medieval England and you had to fight your way out of a castle, I can also remember that there was a joust game you had to win. I remember you started on a castle room, without weapon and then you were able to get a spear, which was the first weapon you get. Everything was supposedly based on real facts as it was an educational game, but one of those very rare fun educational games. I remember you could finish the game within 3 hours more or less.

I hope you can help me, this has been burning inside my head and I want to play it again. I will go through the thread to see which games I can help remember.

Could this be Bobble Bubble? The main characters were a small dinosaur-like creatures.

Hey everyone!
I'm looking for an old school arcade racing game.
I think it's from the early 90's probably dos. It pretty sure it has 4 players multiplayer when the screen is divided by 4.

The most prominent part about it, that is was 2-d and you look on the map from above, and the cars can move in all direction and leave behind them stripes of color identical to the color of the car.

the stripes stay on the map and it's like a wall that you can crash into. the map is really big. after a few minuts all the map turns colorful and it's hard to not crash, kinda like "snake".

It was extremly fun and me and my brothers used to play it :)

Thanks for the help!

p.s the only controllers where the arrows, i don't think you can control the speed or anything else.

Hello, I am currently trying to remember the name of a old pc game that I use to play a few years back, I remembering it being first person hack and slash style game, I don't think you were able to cast any spells and it was all melee, it was a dungeon type game and there is a few levels I remember playing, one of them was like an old castle where the fog was really thick and you kept being shot at by arrows, the other was in a place that took place in the mountains and you had to cross a bridge over a huge drop to get there and there was enemies who would just out of the water to try and attack you, another level I remember was somewhere in a plains like area and it involved ruins and possibly runes to open up a dungeon, towards where I stopped playing there was this really hard boss you had to kill in a dungeon type area with a lot of torches on the walls and soon after you beat him you were taken to another level where there were mine carts, I am uncertain as to if it was a first person or third person game but this game is relitively old and I do remember only being able to use melee type weapons.

I'm trying to identify an old PC game i played in probably the either the late 80's or early nineties.
Hoping that my description can jog someone's memory.

It was on a floppy disk. The game was a 2d top-down spaceship combat arcade game. Each player got to select from several different space ships each with their own characteristics. The goal was to fly around the gamefield and kill your opponent. Kinda like a fancier version of Atari's Combat.

I only recall 3 of the ships in detail. The first was the small circle. It could move very fast and it's weapon was an auto-targeting short-range laser. The ship had a secondary ability that allowed it to warp to a random part of the gamefield.

The 2nd kinda looked like a Klingon bird of prey. It was purple and it's weapon was a short range flame thrower. The secondary ability was a cloaking device.

The last ship i remember acted like the carrier from starcraft. instead of direct fire, this ship would fire out interceptors that targeted the enemy.

There were several other ships, but i don't remember what they were like. When i played this, it could do 2 players (each on a side of the keyboard). I think it was a DOS game.

If this is familiar to anyone, let me know. I'd love to be able to track down this game.

Thanks.
Star Control (1990)

Wow, that's it. Thank you!!! I had looked at starcontrol earlier, but all the videos i saw were of the non-melee part of the game.

Ok, so what I remember of the game:

- Sidescroller
- Keyboard control
- 16 bit (?)
- Bundled with a Windows 95 machine, specifically a Gateway, circa 1994.
- Like Indiana Jones, but I'm pretty sure it was not specifically branded as such. The guy had a rope/lasso.
- I probably only played the first one or two levels because I was young, but the character jumped up pillars of earth (?) in a cave (?).
- The goal of the game was collecting items. Can't remember the items.
- Lots of black and dark green. Not many bright colors.

If I saw it, I'm sure I would remember it.
Does anyone have any idea what this game might be?
Pitfall - The Mayan Adventure (1994)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAv9Y4LB-Fs
Sorry, no. More jumping, less monsters, less trees, more pillars(?). Climbing/Jumping from hanging rope to hanging rope may have been another game mechanic. Less graphics. Also not Montezuma's Revenge, Pharaoh's Tomb, or Rick Dangerous.

Hi everyone.
I'm looking for a game I played years ago with my son. I know it wasn't on an xbox or PS so maybe PC? It involved building fairground rides and I'm sure the riders were animals? You leveled up by building these rides and earning money from them.
I'm sorry about the vague memories but my brain is not as good as it used to be!
Can anyone help??

Hey guys after searching 100+ Pages I have decided just to post. I have seen one other user ask for this game too but he didn't get an answer I am hoping in those two years since someone will know!

This game was for Windows maybe 15 years or so ago. It was a game where you chose a car and matching character and you went around the map buying ( houses/ properties) I don't remember if there was an "end" but there wasn't a certain path you had to follow

One of the elements were that there were these disasters that could ruin the stuff you bought one of these disasters being the loch ness monster called "nessie" the character I used to always be was a guy wearing a monocle and black mustache

The style was more cartoonish I think?

Please help this is driving me crazy!

Thanks

EDIT: I know it is not the game of life nor monopoly ( repost)

1 game ( PC )
The few things I remember that happened in the game is, you drive a hot rod, and you would pick up this Big Egg guy that sounded like he said " Sheh Shemy " Or something, then you would take him to his little area that makes him happy again with your Hot Rod car, then there was a robotic guy, and some other one I can't remember, but yeah, the one I really remember is the big egg guy that cries a lot I think and there was different missions and stuff. I need help! hahaha I hope I gave a good enough description because I can not find it for the life of me, maybe I was the only one in the world to play it? O_O But I hope someone tells me what it is! haha

I haven't been able to find this game anywhere on the internet so I hope someone here knows what I'm talking about. I remember it very vaguely but I'll try to supply as much info as I can.

It was a strategy game, very pixelated, set in modern times (I think since you had cars (were those even cars?)). If I remember correctly you had infantry units which could come in singles pairs or threes (not that sure). Also, you were looking from a bird's perspective.

I adored that game, played it from a floppy disk which is now nowhere to be found.
Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.
One last bump.
