Dark Colony! YouTube has the video I was talking about, too! Nostalgia fix, satisified!Jesse Bonales said:Looking for a PC game that came out between 1995-2000 (could be 2001-2002). All I remember is playing as either humans or "greys" in the campaign. You had your basic soldier units, advanced units, flyers, etc. It's not Starcraft. I remember it had cinematics, too. One I remember distinctly was of some humans fighting some greys and one of the greys got their head blown off and it should the pulsing red insides.
Any ideas?
I want to say Mars something, or Red, or maybe I'm totally wrong. I remember also that selecting units when playing as the Greys would have this cheesy robotic voice. I remember "Trooper" sounded like Tooper.
Help! Any is massively appreciated!

I've been trying to remember this PC game for years, but the more I try to recall, the more it fades...
I think I was playing it a good 15yrs ago.
It was set in space, on a planet? You were a woman, possibly carrying out missions. Birds eye view, flying a spaceship/plane around a grid, much like grand theft auto. The play was interrupted by dialogue screens between characters. I remember there being an accident, and the woman character was now half robot.
That's all I've got...
Any help!
Sounds a little like elite but not the pirate partJodah said:There was this demo I played. It was on one of those "100 great games" disks you could get at Wal-Mart and such. It was a game in space and you would fly around trading stuff. Buy low sell high kind of thing. You could upgrade your ship and had to deal with pirates and stuff. That's about all I can remember about it. Once in awhile I think about it but I lack the ambition to try to figure out what it was called. If anyone knows what I'm talking about it would be stuperpendous!
This sounds like the game i've been looking for for a year now I played it on a friends 386 i'm guessing between 92 and 94 it was either on dos or win3.1 as you won matches you could upgrade your vehicle / car. you could also destroy the opposition players if you had a more heavily armoured car - i vaguely remeber one with teeth being able to eat the other team. My friend and i spent the whole night playing this game and drinking beer (possibly why i can't remeber the name) would love if someone could remember the nameObsydeon said:I'm trying to find an old PC game. It was top-down, IIRC. Arena-style soccer, except you drove cars. Started with light little vehicles, and as you won you could work your way up to heavier and more heavily-armed vehicles. There were random 'tiles' on the arena floor that would accelerate or slow you, or one called 'vector-velocity' that just chucked you in a random direction. It might have been for Genesis instead of PC, but I don't think so.

Totally wild guess, but maybe either Tomba![footnote]It was called "Tombi!" in Europe[/footnote] or Punky Skunk?Leah Stuart said:I have one that has bothered me for a long time. I know its not crash bandacoot or rayman. You are a small hairy guy and you run around completing tasks, and its very multicolored and there are giant exclamation points. Dont remember much about it, its a PS original game. Other than that I dont remember much. Everyone I ask about it says it doesnt exist, but I know it has to because I only played this game and Rayman. Help!!

I'm almost positive it was for the SNES, but it had FF type graphics, and the main character was a knight of some sort in all blue with a blue cloak.
The combat was almost like final fantasy as well, but I've checked every one-- it's not FF.
I remember the combat was a mix of sorts, it had the old NES FF type battle system but it had better looking sprites.
And I think at the beginning of the game this guy is on a spaceship or an airplane of some sort
I absolutely hate my brain that I can't remember it-- I've tried google searching every last SNES game but I just can't find it.
I know it's really vague, but if anyone had at the very least a hint that'd be awesome.
