Signed up just for the answer to these, has been bugging me for about 5 years..

pc game i had on a demo disc in 97/98... side scrolling platformer and shooter, you are a pirate wolf who say's "eat lead!" you have a sword and a pistol, level one was in a cave and level two was a forest area, i believe the enemy's were pigs but i can't be sure.

The other is..

A game that i played on the pc at primary school in 96/97 on windows 3.1 i believe.

it was a point and click adventure game, from what i recall it was very short, you could start with just 2 items, (rope, key, lamp... can't remember any more.) i remember if you choose the lamp you can see in the cave if you choose to go that way. you end up in a house where you have to have the key to open the chest. i don't remember there being any enemy's and from what i can recall the only way to lose is by not having the key at the end.

Any help would be really appreicated.

Thanks Dan, cornwall, UK

An old PC strategy game that involved various styles of magic instead of nations. Like order, chaos, fire, etc

Also: I thought I was the only one that knew of the game Septerra Core, this thread makes me proud.

I'm not sure if this had been answered or not yet, but been reading through the topic, but is the game you were looking for Jade Cocoon?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't remember the name of a game. I'm trying to remember a game that I played several years back online. It was similar to Grave Shift, in that it was isometric (I think) and was a similar gameplay, though more difficult and better response.

I recall two things about the game. It had an area of lava that you had to avoid while walking around on metal grates, and there was an area that had large logs that would jut in and out that you had to avoid. You had to get different color keys to enter different areas.

I think the game was a series (had different installments) and I believe the name of the game included the name of the character.

Anyone have an idea of the game I'm trying to remember?

I've tried searching every way I can think of; walkthroughs, images, etc. I can picture the game, I just can't remember its' name.

I'm looking for the title of an Asteroids-like game from late 90's, perhaps 2000. I remember it being quite funny in its expression, as the "asteroids" for each level were replaced by eyeballs, snooker balls and so on.

I have been looking for this game for years. It is a 1-4 player computer game, windows 98 I believe. You had a little space ship. Each one was a different color, and each one started in a different corner of the screen. First level was shooting asteroids that kept breaking into smaller pieces. They just bounced around the screen and when you got them all you went to the next level. Every level had something different to shoot. The only other things I remember is pool balls and eyeballs but there were many different things. Your space ship had a boost so you could move around the screen and a shield so if you got out of control you could bounce around the objects. It was on a disc with many other arcade games and for the life of me I can't remember it. Its been driving me nuts. Every time I search for it, it just comes up with the old original asteroids game and that is definitely not it. Any help would be great. Thanks!!
We're definitely looking for the same game!! If someone knows the name, please help x}
Thank in advance.

There is this old pc game I used to play as a kid. You used different backgrounds and moving characters to create a story. I think their were three different themes but only had the jungle and castle/kingdom ones. You dragged the characters and objects into whichever scene you chose and then you could write text as well and you made a story using this.

Jungle backgrounds included:
a swamp/lake with a like a treehouse in it
a waterfall
the entrance to a forest/jungle that had been logged
deep in the jungle

Castle backgrounds included:
a farm
inside the castle
outside the castle near the moat
near a cliff/cave
inside a cave (maybe a dragon?? though I think you had to add that in)

Kelli described Comet Busters. Hope it's the game you're looking for, too.

Is it possible that the "wolf" was actually a cat? If so, the first one kind of sounds like Captain Claw, and the time period is right.

hey i remember playing this game where you play as a horse and help other animals with their problems and also collect somethings... you interact with them and in the end i guess you have to help a wounded lady horse by trading something from some human... i know it sounds like that Genesis game from 1994 (crystal's pony tale) but its not... There were other animals like cows and stuff and i think you had a top-down kinda camera angle when you played... I dont know its such a blur i barely remember anything... i hope somebody could help me im a really really curious person... its bugging me lol

Hay,

I am searching for very old game before 2004 probably more older, it was first shooting game where main goal was to shoot/put all seven balls (diferent color) into marked point (tree).
If opponent kill you, you drops all balls and he could take it, and the same thing if you shoot the opponent..
All guns were very similar to the unreal tournement (you have rocket luncher, smt. to glue oponent on the floor, also you have basic gun with infinite ammo, and others ...), but I can't find this specific game where you shoot the ball. I received that game from demo disc so probably is that reason that i can't find?
I apologize for my bad English

I don't really think this counts, since I don't remember it being much of a game, more a tech demo or some project or something I got off a demo cd a long time ago, but anyways I'll give it a shot since it has been driving me mad for years. I remember it was in first person, and you could walk around on an island populated by all sorts of alien creatures. I remember there were some flying insects near some water, and a cave at the end or something? There was no action, more like just walk around like some alien safari. Probably 10 or more years ago.

Hey, I've been searching and trying to remember this game on and off for years. It's a RPG that I played around 1995 where you are a single adventurer (No other party members) and you start of on the side of a mountain and your only option is to enter the dungeon. The entire game is in the dungeon and I remember it being a maze with drops, traps, and monsters that I needed to map out on graph paper so I could find the way to the deeper levels. If you died, you'd have to restart all the way at the side of the mountain. The interface was 1st person and showed a picture on the left side for the dungeon & monsters, and then text on the right side. I know these are pretty vague details and I might even be misremembering some of them, but any suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers.

Hello to anyone out there reading this right now.

Anyways, This game I'm looking for is from the Original Playstation(or PSX).

It's a 3D platforming shooter were you play either a Black Guy or a Red-Haired(?) Girl against aliens. Both of them start off with a machine gun, collecting power-ups to get more unique weapons that recharge over time. The very first level of the game had you dropped of by a transport. There was also a bug/glitch in one of the levels where in shooting the barrels before taking care of the turrets first would lead to a piece of road dropping but your character being uncontrollable at that point.

The most memorable part of the game for me was riding a hoverbike while outrunning a huge wall of fire because of a nuclear blast.

Is it wrong that I remember this game only because it had an opening cinematic showing some polygonal ass?

Im trying to remeber the name of a game I played in the mid to late 90s. It was a strategy game city building game. It was a top down view and there was an AI that you played against building another city across the map and you were racing to destroy them before they destroyed you with nukes but you had to build up to it first. I remember it being pretty in depth. the loading screens had pictures of nature type themes and animals. I remember in the beginning it saying that the game was dedicated to someone.
Anyone?

ok, heres a tricky one. i remember playing this game back when i was a kid in technology class. you were this blue character(i believe you were a bear) you had a flashlight and a red cap, and you had to go through this place and find clues to this mystery you had to solve by midnight. i loved this game and would like to be able to play it again.
