I'm looking for a PC game I played when I was younger, probably early 2000s. It was an adventure game where the mission was to "get home," which required you to get through many levels of different tasks and puzzles to get to the spaceship, which would take you home. You also had to save different "secret agents" who were hidden throughout the game and if you let any of them die, you lost. One was trapped in the body of a pigeon. If you lost the level that was like a game show/trivia game, the next agent would end up in a lava lamp. You had to stay away from the baddies, which were like tin-man-esque/robot characters who would lock you up if they found you. The beginning starts off with an explanation of the mission (I remember salt and pepper shakers?) and the first task was to rearrange a picture of a woman with a fruit headpiece (Frida Kahlo-like). Other levels include running away from the baddies in a maze-like place by using decoys, matching recordings of noises with the location of the noise, and a tetris-like game with glass pipes carrying water. The baddie at the end is a real creep. The last task is wiring the spaceship properly to depart. I don't think I ever beat it. Halp.
