Please, for the love of god, if anyone could help:
I remember it being a horror/suspense/escape kind of game, that you started on a manhole/sewer exit or something like that. Its a VERY old game, I remember by the graphics, I just don't know which platform. It was first person, you were in some kind of house. The starting point had kind of a medieval aspect of it, with like dungeon stones looking like a prison around that manhole. I remember a glimpse of a long shot in like a desert with someone walking or something like that, maybe you could take a look in a hole between the stones, and the thing I remember the most about the game is the books. There was a library or something, and I think I thought of that game as a kid as "the book game", I think the books played a huge part. Maybe you could examine them or something.
This is not much but I'm sure someone else here played it, because for me, in my country to be able to play that game at the time, probably it had some success, I'm guessing. I tried searching multiple times, "first person horror game" and a console, like Atari, Sega Saturn, etc. No success.
