Pinkie Pie.

In all seriousness, I've always been a fan of pie, even with my horrible case of being American. Apparently I should take a trip over to Britain and get myself schooled on what a real pie is. I think I'll do that. I've always been envious of you British folk and your accents.
Oh, hell no, there will be no ponies in one of my threads.

I'm visually mincing her up and sticking her in a pie.

I'm not a fan of horse meat, but fuck it, gravy fixes everything.
Dare to even think that a second time and you'll think the Blitz was a walk in the park after Sunday church.

Shepherds Pie is the best. I made a dish of it the other day, Sooooooo good. I have to mix my peas in. I'd cook with them in the pie but only my dad likes them, the others like corn. So we just do plain and do the veggies separate.
What ever happened to love and tolerance?

Or does that dogma only hold water when it's convenient? :D

Pony pies for everyone!
Not for people who cut up ponies and put them in Pies. Would you love and tolerate someone who cuts your best friend up and served them to ya. Interestingly enough Pinkie Pie cuts up ponies and bakes them into cupcakes, in a fanfic. So please don't be like Cupcakes, it's very grimdark.
If you knew my friends, you'd know that they would probably be more useful if turned into pies :D

My mother does make a rather good moose-pie. That's the only kind of pie I really eat though.

Oh, and that Scotch pie looks rather lewd.
It needs the hole, lest the eater be burned to death in an explosion of gravy and meat goodness.
If it has gravy in it, then it's not a Scotch Pie. A Scotch Pie is made from minced mutton, and shouldn't have much in the way of gravy. What it should have, if hot, is a reservoir of grease between the meat and the pastry. Don't confuse Scotch Pies with pies made from other types of filling cunningly disguised in the traditional Scotch Pie case. The hole is there to stop the hot grease exploding out, although in practice you almost always end up with hot grease running down your fingers and chin anyway.

As a Canadian, I scoff at your insinuation that it is at all possible to be too cold to eat a pie.

If I cooked you too, yeah.

...

I didn't say you'd be a good pie.

Grease burns, gravy burns, they're all the same.

We must suffer for our art.

Go right ahead, just don't be surprised if you wake up in someone's belly.

As an American I can say I despise the Hot Dog but....Hamburgers. Oh good lord the Hamburger. *drool* That said. I'm intrigued by these pies of yours. I should find a way to try one.

My favourite pie is-- oh wait, I've never had pie. My country doesn't know pie. :(

The only pie I know is Pie Magazine, where my game reviews are published. *coughshamelessplugcough*

-EDIT-
For the record, when I hear 'pie' I think of something delicious filled with fruit, not meat.

I could murder some Shepard's pie right now... anyway the weirdest pie I've ever heard of is chocolate pie, I didn't actually believe it existed until a mate started going on about it, doesn't sound or look particularly appetising.

No pie?

Truly, your home is a hellish place to live.

I will mourn you.

I may very well do a beer thread actually, there are some damn fine pints brewed over here.
Sadly, this is one competition Britain falls short in; we may have some fine brews, but fair few of them contest the American Budweiser. We can't be the champions of everything, we may only hand over the pint glass with dignity.

OT: There is no better pie than a steak and kidney pie. Some may recoil in disgust at the mere thought of kidney, but the combination of texture and taste with the steak and the gravy make it wonderful. Oh how I love a steak and kidney pie on a Monday.

I don't know, we may not make decent beer, but we make damn fine ale.

Abbot ale is like a pint of god's tears.

He said "Beer". That piss-coloured fizzy drink that you refer to is known in civilisation as "Lager". Only Americans (and marketing execs who think the rest of us will buy it just because it's American) insist on calling it beer.

Got to love pies in all their forms.

A good steak pie is something every man should have most day. Although a macaroni or lasagne pie comes close.

It was a depressing day when I finished the last mince pie after Christmas knowing it would be almost a whole year until I could have another.

Partly my fault. What I meant was that I'd start a thread about the pint.

Eh, it's not such a bad place. The 'no pie' thing pisses me off, though.

You want to help? Don't mourn me - bake a pie, package it so it stays fresh and send it to me!
