4chan, being a japanese culture board, seems like it would be a good place for you as long as you stay the hell away from /b/ and the adult sections (unless you're into futa : \)

I'm going to be blunt though, with the way you present the majority of your threads and posts, you'll be hard pressed to find any community that will accept you. People generally don't react well to hostility. I mean, my interest in games is fairly similar to yours, and I quite like anime, but you don't see my head getting torn off every time I make a post.

I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt and assume you're not a troll, but if you are, keep doing what you're doing; you do a fantastic job!

edit: wow, somebody put a lot of effort into that troll post above mine @ __ @

Is that really all the games you like? o_O

Maybe the first thing people have a problem with is the way you lay out your posts, less aggressive would be nice.

Or maybe it's the kinds of games you show to others here in general. I've never heard a fair amount of the games on the list, mainly because they're Japanese. The games you present tend to not be the kind of thing people here are use to.

And as for finding a new community, good luck with that.

(A bit off-topic, but what the hey) -

Saying "You should find a less sophisticated community" is redundant, since the Escapist is the classiest forums I've ever seen. =)

IGN has a very strong forum community. I was a veteran poster there for eight years before I was finally banned for good. The Vestibule in particular is my favourite board. If you head on over there, tell them Regnes will be back one day. They're much more lax over there with the rules too, though oddly enough you're not allowed to swear.
I'm curious, how did you get permabanned? Do they have a forum health meter like here or were you banned because you said the most disgusting thing a human being can ever say? ... Or you swore?

Edit: Seeing my avatar in too different places at the same time can look... strange.

I'm sorry to be the only douchebag here, but... HA!!! Good riddance! I'm sorry, but you have came across as one of the most self-centered posters on here, seeyah!

With your attitude, no forum is going to welcome you. Your going to end up alienating yourself again and again. Take a look in the mirror. It's not us, it's you.
Smash, why are you so good at hitting the nail on the head?

I would have recommended the GameFAQs boards since they have a big community like the Escapist but...

1. Some boards are flat out dead
2. The mods are retards sometimes. I have stories.
3. Some of the community there is filled with retards and trolls. Case in point, The Halo 4 board. (*WAHHHH* Call of Duty!!! *WAAHHHH*)

It's really hard to find a good gaming community to join these days. If you find a good one, please let me know.
Serious suggestion, I'm seconding this. I'm pretty sure I've seen every last one of the games Lilith mentioned in her OP gushed about over there, whether it's in their specific board, in the board of the systems that they're on, or in the board for the genre they fit into (SHMUPS, Fighters, etc.)

Also, Lilith, we don't hate the games with a passion. I've played and enjoyed a good chunk of the stuff on the list. What gets old is the way you flip out at the slightest thing. I would say offense, but that's the point: you take offense when there should be none. I'm not saying you need to leave here, I am saying if you want to fit in /anywhere/ on the internet, you need to grow a thicker skin.

Ignore listed, best decision ever lol

OP: You can't honestly react the way you usually do to criticism and be accepted ANYWHERE. I'd recommend IGN, but I suppose I've got a vested interest there. Try 1UP and Penny-Arcade.

From what I've gathered in my lurking of your threads, your posts, your reactions to others, and from what others say about you, the problem isn't with the games you like or your tastes in [such and such]. The problem is YOU. Right off the bat just reading "Please help me find another forum online c-" (it got cut off on the 'latest threads' dash) I knew it was another LilithSlave thread. You're always so dramatic and everything seems to be a personal affront to you. You can find an insult in a stream of compliments. To be as frank as can be, you remind me of my 11 year old sister.

So, hey, my advice to you is to just, I don't know, relax? People like things you don't like. Get over it. In the mean time of getting over it, I guess search for a site that leans towards Japanese titles?

Oh, and as a person who absolutely loves JRPGS, loves anime and manga, has studied Japanese culture, and knows a decent amount about what it's like to live in Japan, I can tell you that Japanese culture is actually not that great (for example, they stagnate on soooooo many social issues that it's like Japan's stuck several decades, if not more, in the past. And you're a feminist! You should know this kind of stuff!

Might I suggest the Zeel route?

Are you saying you've ignore listed me, or what? Obviously you won't get this message if you've done it, but the post is kind of confusing because I can't think of a reason to ignore list somebody over a post like that. Some the things I've posted about copyright, maybe, but not that.

Just stop being so abrasive. Understand that people don't necessarily have the same taste in games you have, don't take it as a personal attack and don't lash out at people who don't share your opinion. Threads like this don't help.

Nobody hates you Lilith, you're just coming off as combative when you don't need to be.

EDIT: Just looking at that list of games I think your tastes fit in here more than you think. There's loads of games on there that I and many others love.
Hazy got it right in one. People on this website get very aggressive about things they like/dislike. You're no different, but you're starting to actively engage in flaming the people who dislike things you like, and flame the things you dislike just for... well, being.

Hey, I can get pretty worked up when people attack me on the Internet too, but in the big picture it really doesn't matter. Unless my job involved working on the Internet, it's really not very serious business, even when I see people who have opinions that are completely opposite to my own. Even when I see people who hold absolutely ridiculous, sometimes even downright stupid opinions, it just doesn't matter. Humans are creatures of habit, first and foremost, and the chances are somebody isn't going to change their opinion just because another person typed at them really vehemently across the Internet.

What are you basing this on? The fact you arnt a "notable" user? Neither is most of us.

If you meet and find friends on here, go ahead. However forums are not realy the place. More so large forums like here. The main thing that decides if I stay at a forum is if I remember to visit it and to want to.

Other than that i have my one internet home and I love that place. How do you get yours? You will know it when you get it.

Dosnt mean you have leave here. Just broaden your horizons. I visit three to four forums ones is my home forums and others including here are nice to visit. Otherwise....don't be so dramatic, cos you will find yourself just coming back and starting it all over again.

I am a huge anime fan. However I am alone on my tastes it seems, I love the old animes. I tried to join a forum specifically for such and I got realy excited, however it was a closed community and I didnt pass muster....when they said it's just a formality. So that annoyed me.

Overall its hard to hang your hat somewhere else.

Unfortunately Lilith, with such a large list of beloved games, you're unlikely to find a forum that doesn't have people who dislike some of them. And I understand why you dislike the Escapist for this, people here tend to hold very passionate opinions, especially of games. Heck, the responses to this thread are less than warm. But I don't think you should go because chances are any gaming forum will have people who share some of your views and oppose others and they likely won't be any friendlier than people here. In addition, you have contributed some interesting conversation in non-gaming threads. If this isn't enough and you really want to talk about games why not try a few here (that aren't Touhou) and see how people react. A number of the games you mentioned I haven't heard anyone dislike strongly and others I haven't heard at all. If you're prepared for people to not know about them or straight dislike them you shouldn't have a problem. You may even get a few people interested in them!

I feel like a layperson most of the time, or a Cro Magnon or something, but honestly, if you like video games and don't fit in here, find another planet.

(maybe Kotaku? idk)

Try Gamezebo. It's predominantly middle aged women talking about casual PC, Wii, & mobile games, but at least it's friendly & people actually try stuff you suggest.

Most of the time what you're saying is fine, and I'm happy to read through it and comment, but there are definitely times where both you AND other people seem to be aggressive for no reason at all. My suggestion is to tone it down a bit and maybe put a question in your OP once in a while, like "Hey guys I like Touhou, what do YOU like?".

Uh, yeah, that's about all i got I guess. Seeya if you're out.
