They're insanely deep and strategic RPG's hidden under a child-like disguise.The_root_of_all_evil said:Can someone explain the fascination of Pokemon to me? I've never understood what's so interesting about it.
*sigh*Hubilub said:Read the title and became very happy. Finally we don't have to go through every previous Pokemon game to catch all Pokemon.
Then I read the part were you'll be able to import Pokemon, which means that there will be a Pokedex that will include all Pokemon.
... fuck.

As long as it rids me from encountering the following pokemon:
Geodude.
Zubat.
Golbat.
Tentacool and
Hoothoot...
Fuck I hate Hoothoot...
Heh, how long into the game do you think we'll get before finding the "new" zubat?mjc0961 said:1. They are ALL new this time, no old ones! Finally, no fucking Zubat, no fucking Geodude, and no fucking Tentacool!
Think set collection with semi-random items + RPG stat growth and turn-based battle strategy. It's like a cross between Xbox Live achievements, Diablo, and rock-paper-scissors-lizard-Spock [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Big_Bang_Theory_episodes_(season_2)#Episodes].The_root_of_all_evil said:Can someone explain the fascination of Pokemon to me? Ha, saw this week's AT4W, huh?shadowstriker86 said:as long as there's a tank-bear with a bearzooka and a cyber gorilla with a SAM launcher on its back, i'll be happy
Isn't Salamence Fire/Dragon?Amyler said:The new Zubat is almost certaintly a psychic/flying pokemon called Koromori. The pokemon site Serebii has information on all announced pokemon, so check it otu if you're interested.

Apparently, they're making lots of unique type combinations for this generation. I'm looking forward to using a Dark/Ground crocodile, and a Fire/Dragon is long overdue, so horray for that. It is a bit dissapointing that in the new desert region we won't be getting Cacnea or Trapinch, and it also means we'll be seeing a fair few more rock and ground pokemon, which are common types already. What we really need is more Fire, Ice and some not so fantastic Dragon pokemon. >.> And enough with the waters already!
And Zubat, don't forget them...that said their is a fluffy bat in this one which i bet is just as annoyingShockolate said:Good! I'm sick of those fucking Geodude's.
Those things are fucking everywhere.
oooooo awkwardCrispee said:I'll be fine with the first playthrough of the game having only new Pokemon, but only as long as they're not using the same Archetypes that they recycle, such as The Pidgey, the Fire, Grass, Water starters, the elemental Legendary trio, The Insect type with three evolutions, etc.
