I am stating facts, women do get off of sinking ships before men and in any life threatening situation women come before men, war was no different. I would think that facts would stand as proof but if not, I can't help you.

Well, that's one study. We'll see if there are more to support this one or if there will be academic debates over the validity of it.

You can't get the big picture looking at databases. Do you know who was put on the lifeboats first? Just the survival rate doesn't tell the whole story.

I do not class my self as a feminist. I think the term has turned into something more than what it originally meant. I do believe that men and women should be equal, but I also believe that there are some factual differences. This means that tests for things such as getting into the fire service, or army, should not be lowered to allow females to access those jobs, but they should be given equal opportunity to take those tests. the tests are not in place to hold women back, they are there for different reasons.

Each one of these schools of thought focuses on the needs of one group of people. That doesn't necessarily mean that they are against other groups, they most likely support them. It's generally just a better use of one person's time and energy if they focus on one group. Naomi Wolf or Germane Greer (presumably) support racial equality as well, they just aren't putting books out about it because that's not their area of expertise. If feminism is anti-man, then the civil rights movement is anti-white.
