I have a monocle for my eye that got damaged in the great war. Commoners *tilts nose up*.

Ignoring that episode of silliness, no glasses of any form for me.

Very funny. Got my attention.
I don't wear glasses. I actually see 20/20 which is weird because my whole family wears glasses. Mom, dad, grandparents from both sides, sisters, etc...
I'm lucky in a way.

Wearing glasses. No offense, but you might want to expand your vocabulary.
I'd never even heard of the word before O_O

Anyway no, so far in my life I have not required to wear any glasses or have contacts. The again I'm only 14 so my eyesight has a while to fail me.

Nope. But with the amount of shit I put my eyes through, I'm amazed there isn't anything wrong with them.
I might have one or two small 'scars' though, from messing with them. When I look at blank white I see a few marks, which must be my eyes.

Since the age of 6, myself. With varying degrees of looking-like-a-berk-ness since then in terms of my choice of glasses. I was very keen on looking like a very small John Major when I was about 7.

I wear glasses most of the time (like now) but do wear contacts for social occasions, and often at work (mainly so i don't get glare in my eyes from the lights... they blind me more than enough without the extra screwyness).

Seriously, 52% of people answered yes? But... that's not true!
This is a forum full of nerds, it must be noted.
Hell, in my Physics class, it would have been around 70-80% wearing glasses/contacts.

Somehow no I don't need them, I mean all my sisters and my parents all wear them, and so do a lot of my family. Guess I've just been lucky.

Fear my perfect eyesight!

...Are you fearing it? Oh, OK then.

Express some emotion towards my perfect eyesight!
Perfect eyesight-five? *high fives*

Damn right I do, and I love the crap out of them. Hated them at first, but then I started looking at fashionable models, frames that fit my face and appearance. It was surprisingly easy too.

Now I can't imagine myself without them, wouldn't want to either. They look goooood.

OT: Yeah, I wear glasses, thanks for teaching me a new word, "Bespectacled", and I'm hoping to get eye surgery to NOT wear glasses anymore.

I'm just waiting until the day I can afford Lazer Eye Surgery. I know it's not the safest option, but I'd rather try it then be stuck with glasses forever.
Get a super-sexy pair of glasses and, well, become super sexy. Cheaper too, and safer.

Spread the word! Specsappeal is hot!

i Wear glasses and love them, they are the only thing that gives definition to my face when I shave and without them I would only be remembered for my sweet hats.
Never understood why people don't like them, but to each their own.

My operation went really well. Went in the morning, got zapped and had plastic bubbles taped over my eyes for a couple days and then went to work. My first 2 days post-op consisted of me doing alot of sleeping in an extra dark room. Granted, my monitor screen and office were bright as hell so I was wearing sunglasses and any reading gave me a headache but it's been a year since I did it and not a problem, not even at night. The only thing I notice now is if I'm really tired my eyes feel sore when driving.

If you are interested in doing it, I'd suggest doing alot of research into the process you want as well as the reputation of the clinic and not necessarily taking the cheapest offer out there. You only get 1 set of eyes and if they get screwed up it's not like you can swap them out.

My op cost me $3400 CAD for both eyes (LASIK) but that was with the top clinic in my province and included all follow up visits and any potential touch ups if needed. A lesser clinic may charge you extra for touch ups and follow up visits.

I always wear glasses. I just can't get the hang of contacts.

I wear glasses. I wouldn't see much without them. I am a bat *flapflap*

I have my glasses for eleven years now. My sight got worse two times since them. I started with -1,25 dioptre and am now at -4 dioptre.
If you're a bat i wonder what awesome thing I would be? I recently went to test my sight, because my eyes had felt kinda strained for a couple of months. Turns out my right eye is currently at -8 and my left at -8.25. Feels bad man.
