i saw a docudrama called The Last Dragon,or Dragon's World: A Fantasy Made Real on discovery afew years ago that talked about dragon's as if they were real and it detailed pre-historic dragon fighting dinosaurs and followed their evolution as the world changed around them (like when the dinosaurs were wiped out dragon's adapted to the sea) and also talked about the different types of dragons
it was a great show i must say and i would check it out if you can
there was one statement that stuck out that i enjoyed
"If dragon's did not exists, how did people from all over know about them" ...or something along those lines i can't find the quote or remember it all that well but that's the gist of it
Edit: heres the wiki page if anyone is interested http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Last_Dragon_(2004_TV_series)
