The only time I ever invert is when I am playing something in third person and the camera starts of inverted. Left = right like in FF11.

Well, since I don't have any demon blood, repressed skill at violence, or inherent vampiric tendencies, or anything of the sort, I wouldn't say I have an inversion impulse, no.

...oh, never mind, axis-wise. I do occasionally, depending on the game. I almost always do in flying games, and I occasionally do shooters.

I invert on nearly every game. There's a few where I don't, mainly because I used to play them before I started playing FPS, but those are few and far between.

It just feels more natural and immersive.(Hmm...according to Firefox, that's not a word!)

If it's a console game, I always invert, if it's a PC game I don't. GoldenEye got me used to using inverted controls on a console, and I can't go back. I can almost half way get used to using a console game if it doesn't allow me to invert, but I find myself constantly looking down when I meant to look up at the least opportune time. I think inverted just kind of makes sense to me, because if by pushing the joystick forward it's like pushing your head forward, thus making you look down, pull it back you would be pulling your head up. Honestly the majority if people I know prefer inverted to non-inverted, probably because we started playing console FPS's with GoldenEye.

Yes, I always do except with my PC.
My roommate can't invert to save his life, it's hilarious switching the Y-Axis on him when he's in the bathroom... Speaking of which...

I always have to, in any game, I just don't feel comfortable with the normal way.

Invert everything! Set it to default imo. I went fucking mental when the first person Sherlock Holmes game didn't have an invert option.

You're not alone, but I wish you were, cause then Adam would stop inverting every damned axis of every damned game every damned time he picks up the damned controller.

Yes, I can't play ANY FPS without inverting. It's just...
unimaginable to play without it.

I only do this for aircraft. Anything else can't be inverted or i can't think straight.

Always invert. ALWAYS! I thought I had traced it back to my days in which I used to log hour after hour on Ace Combat 2. It makes sense, but to this day I can't play anything, regardless of genre, without inverting.

In my house, if we're hot-seating a game, I get nagged for constantly inverting the Y-Axis. My housemates say I must be a witch... like those sinister left-handed folk!

I want to prove to them that I'm certainly not alone in my inverted Y-axis persuasion.

After Perfect Dark, I did it for practically every game (the control scheme being up and down on the control stick to move forward and back, left and right on the control stick to look, and vice versa for the right stick, which used to piss people off who used my controller)until I used to play Halo and Call of Duty in the flat across the hall in university. Now I don't change them at all.

Actually, tell a lie I do change it sometimes, but I am fine with both. But I haven't bought a traditional console shooter in something like half a decade.
