Everyone who says Russian is wrong. Most people that speak it do so with a horribly thick Belorussian accent, the conjugating is bullshit, and I have to switch accents between speaking that and English. My grammar blows!

Japanese. I mostly love it because it is so incredibly different from the Western languages I've studied (Spanish and German) and English (my native tongue). Kanji are pretty cool too.

First of all, Italian wasn't on there, and neither was French. Those are fairly major languages.
I thin this shouldn't have been a poll, just a topic.

French of Swedish. Both can be incredibly unique, but they both just sound so distinct. My family is Swedish but I hardly ever hear the language anymore so I love it when I get the chance to hear it spoken again, either from relatives or from foreign films, it's just pleasurable.

I agree with the OP that I like German and Russian as well, though I don't share their opinion about how it always sounds like the speaker is swearing... makes me wonder where they've heard German and Russian.

Japanese and Korean mainly because I like the TV Drama's from those countries and I'm getting sick of reading subtitles so I would like to learn them.
And Italian mainly because I played Assassin's Creed 2 one to many times and think that when Ezio speaks it's the most romantic thing in the world.

Finnish!!! There's a reason why Tolkien based the Elvish languages off Finnish: it's flow and usage of gentle vowel sounds make it so appealing to listen to.

Finally!! Someone else who agrees with me. Finnish is an amazing language, I really want to learn how to speak it. I first came across it on YouTube when I found a few users who had posted subbed versions of old Disney songs and I thought the Finnish versions sounded better than the English originals.

I like German because I'm of German desent, but I honestly think that Arabic is an interesting language. I hope to become fully fulent in both German and Arabic.
