Well nice to know I'm in the majority. Main reason is lack of anyone worthy.

To be worthy, prerequisites are being moderately good looking and at least vaguely interesting to me.

had one once but she was way to clingy for me and that fell apart after 4-5 months. Then tried for another and found out that she was a lesbian. Now potentially have a relationship soon depending on how things go.

What the title says, basically.
How many girlfriends/boyfriends have you had?
One night stands don't count.
If we can't count one night stands, then I'll assume I shouldn't count "friends with benefits" or threesomes, foursomes, or fivesomes either.

So I went with 7-10.

I know the number is proof that I have serious intimacy issues and probable emotional troubles of some sort, which means that I will probably not find a "the girl for me" but...it's nice to have a turn at being part of the 1% for a change

Currently one for me. Lasted about a year and a bit I suppose. And just for reference/curiosity's sake I'm just under 18 right now.

Oh, there's more 0:s than I thought actually. I've never been in a relationship either, I'd like to be financially stable first. It's starting to suck. Not because I'm lonely(ok, I am), but because my friends are starting to act like they suddenly know more about women and relationships than me now.

WOMEN HAVE TITS AND VAGINAS! See? I know everything about women.

Now PEOPLE, as in PERSONS with different personalities, backgrounds and tastes, are much harder to understand.

I'm 17 and I've had one....
And I broke up with her because I realized I was gay.
(It was okay though, because when I went to tell her she said she'd figured it out long ago, and it was pretty obvious, so I guess I shouldn't go into acting because I'm clearly very bad at it.)

One, that lasted 4 days. Yes, four...

She had a crush on me, I liked her, 4 days went by and she broke up with me. Why? I have no idea. The entire experience left me standing there like a question mark. Same deal happened a year later (was informed by a female friend of mine that a girl liked me,) so I started to avoid her a bit in fear of repeating the previous experience. Bit of a bastard move on my part. Still haven't been in another relationship, just in case.

I've had Six serious relationships, (still in the sixth) and though I cannot say that none of them had terrible moments, I still love and are friends with most of them. They've all taught me something about myself and life, good and bad, and I wouldn't change or erase any of them. My boyfriend now has been my best friend for 10 years now and given my experience and prior relationships it's given me a basis for the most natural and amazing relationship I've ever had and still have.

I put 4-6 cause i've been with 3 different girls (all of the relationships were serious) but had something like 3-4 seperate relationships with one of them (get together, break up, get together, etc.).

I don't think thats too bad considering i'm 21 and i don't really go out looking for girls, i don't go to clubs (the closest thing to a club that i go to is a pub with friends), i don't really drink and i'm not exactly the most talkactive/easy to get to know person out there, girls i go out with are usually my friend long before i even ask them out.

And for even further information each of those relationships have lasted from 3 months to the more regular 12 months.

0, I really can't imagine hating someone enough to subject them to a relationship with me, I'd make a lousy boyfriend.

Seriously though, I'm not that interested. I'm really not a people person.

2 internet relationships. 0 real life. 17 years old. I can really only think of 2 or so people in real life I'd even have a chance with that I'm attracted to, considering I'm a short (5'4") and skinny guy.

Even then, having a cleft lip and palate, no matter how fixed it is, really doesn't help in the being attractive department.
How do you define "have a chance with?"

I ain't just playing the dating game on hard mode, I'm playing it like it was dark souls. It just ain't worth the effort and inevitable humiliation and pain to me.
Dude! I use the same terms to describe dating difficulty too! For some people it's like Halo on easy and for others it's like playing on legendary.
To be honest, I think I saw the "I'm not ugly. I'm playing the dating game on hard mode" thing on memebase or 9gag.

I made up the bit about dark souls myself, though...
Yeah, maybe you did, it's not that clever of a concept, just a funny one, it would make sense that someone else thought of it too.

1.5-ish.
I don't normally count my first one because it lasted like 3 days.
The other one ended at pretty much the 6 month mark.

Best friend for 10 years before becoming your boyfriend? or counting the time he has been your boyfriend? or some third option I haven't thought of?

Either way this seems to give credence to the friends before relationship thing.
