Sounds good to me. I proposed something like that in a thread a while ago. Every country was united, and the main capital city was in Berlin, because that was the middle of Europe/etc. It could work, too.

I'd set the Capital in the Himalayas. most ... I don't know, Majestic?
It's a good defensive position, good view, and situated near enough to be between all the important stuff.
and people would whine if the capital was in a different country, so put it in an out of the way place.

1:kill everyone

2:have a super dictator that everone loves and all seperate countries merged together

3:uber quick space colonisation so there is enough room for everyone

1- no one will want this but it will solve racism, wars, international strife etc.
2- it will never happen
3- will take too long and will not happen for ages

...another thing worth thinking about is, even though we all have different political ideologies, it's amazing how many would drop them in turn for wealth.

If it's found that one segment of this unique world was better off than others, we'd be seeing everyone packing their bags and heading for that segment.

I'm from the UK and I didn't even notice that >.<
