i have the impression by reading the comments, that everybody here think breast implants = DD+ size. but the vast majority of implants goes from a or b cup the the cup above (so b and c). when you got a b or a c size, they are not gigantic or unatural, but at least you get something to show, and there's often more interresting clothing to put when you have a little bit of breast.
Yeah, a fair few people seem to think that implants have to be really obvious and fake.

Like CGI, people complain about bad CGI, don't notice good CGI, because that's how things are supposed to look.

I voted: "I'll get you one of these days Paragon! I swear on me mum!" Paragon I got a can of pepper spray and a tazer with your name on 'em! /silliness

OT:
Personally? I'm not particularly interested in getting implants, I already have C-cup breasts, and if family history is anything to sneeze about... Well my mom had DDs and she was even smaller than me, which means I have the potential to naturally develop F-cup breasts... I'm kinda thankful they stabilized where they have. I have a close friend who I have a semi-romantic relationship with though, she's torn between the idea of me being nearly flat, or my having bigger boobies than her DDs... If we lived closer together and she asked me to have breast reduction, or to get implants, I'd do it for her. On my own I'm a lot more tempted for reduction than I am for implants though, but I really don't want either enough to go under the knife on my own. Personally I like my cleavage, I'd be pretty upset if it suddenly vanished, but if I had to have reduction, or got cancer... I'd be okay with the the down sizing, I can always wear falsies if I want em bigger after all.

For someone I know, or am dating? If they want implants, or reduction, then I'll support them... Though I'd want to be sure they'd be do it for their own overall happiness, not to meet the demands of society. I also wouldn't ask anyone to physically alter themselves for me... Unless it's body shaving, that's something I will ask for, though not demand. Satin bed clothes are better all around if you got no body fur.

Also.... What about guys who want to have boobs? Personally I like boobs and I see no reason that they should be restricted to women. Everyone should have the option to have tits. Seriously this is like gendering clothing. It's silly to make it a sex exclusive thing, everyone should have the option to have boobs.

I've previously worked at a breast clinic so I've seen a lot of people having difficulties with them, but that's like saying I work at a hospital and I see a lot of ill people so obviously I'm biased.

That said most of the time if you can tell someone has implants they look terrible in my opinion. I'm not against them for medical reasons like mastectomy or what ever, but I think just because you want bigger boobs is a terrible reason to have surgery (I'm against any sort of none necessary surgery).

If my SO were to ask me to get them, my answer would be "hell no" and I'd find myself rethinking the relationship.

I would also personally never get them for myself, I don't have any moral objection to them but I would never want them.

If other people want to get them, have at it.

Her body, her choice, that's really about as simple as you can get here.

However, I also wouldn't lie to her about it. If I thought it might affect my physical attraction to her (either positive or negative), I'd tell her that.

I think a more interesting (and controversial) question would be: what would you do if your significant other wanted them, and wanted you to help pay for them?

If I had smaller boobs and wanted them bigger, then honestly, I could see myself potentially considering it. It just seems like a logical option, and it's nice that it exists. Obvious implants often do look artificial and kind of freaky to me (like, my brain doesn't see them as actually being boobs), so I would have to do a lot of research before being sold on something like that for myself. Then again, plenty of more natural boob jobs probably go unnoticed as being implants, so I'm sure there's a range of results you can get based on your body and what you want.

One downside that people with smaller chests might not consider is the impact of fashion on boobs: it's as if most women's clothing is designed for nothing more than a B cup. It's super annoying to find a cute top or dress that fits perfectly everywhere except you can't zip up the chest region. Or the buttons gap and pop open to embarrass you. Or you would like to wear long, flowy/baggy shirts but they make you look like a giant tent creature. It's all fun and games until your wardrobe is limited. D:

Yes :(
Bathing suits are another issue, I'm pretty sure cute suits for large breasts don't exist.

Or bras, for that matter! You'll be shopping, and see all these really pretty ones, and then you look at what sizes they're in. I'm right on the border between sometimes finding the ONE that was ever shipped to the store, and being stuck in the grandma section for life.

Maybe that's subconsciously why I moved to Washington state. It's not like you're ever going to need to wear a bathing suit up here in the first place!

Support yes, want her to get no.

Not a fan of big boobages personally, and even less so obvious implants.

I've dated women with B's to G's and even one with DD implants and I'd have to say I prefer the unaugmented ones every time. That said if it's really detrimental to a woman's confidence then they should get them if they so desire. If I had a small penis and there was an option to upsize I tell you I'd be the first in line.

Has absolutely nothing to do with me, people can do what they wish. Don't understand it for the most part, but then I don't have to since it doesn't involve me.

What have you linked me to AccursedTheory...

Personally, I don't like them.
Mostly because "all natural" just has a better feel... although, also because I'm a supporter of the small kind of breasts, so this is kinda my enemy... in way.

That's just my preference though, and I'm a guy, so I can't tell anyone jack.
If you want them, you get them!

...
...
My sister did.
That might have something to do with it, but I don't want to explore that topic... I wouldn't even touch it with a ruler that extended into another dimension.

Want a significant other to get a boost? Absolutely not. Support her if it meant a whole lot to her? Eh, inevitably. It'll likely never be an issue, thankfully, given anyone I'm with tends to appreciate that perfection comes from imperfection, i.e. what is unique and individual.

Then again I've recently played through Deus Ex: Human Revolution again, so methinks breast implants will be the least of our collective worries. 'Y'know, I've been thinking about having tungsten-carbine blades fitted inside my arms. What do you think?' is not a conversation I ever want to have... unless I'm in a relationship with some kind of assassin, in which case, I want to get a his'n'hers set.

I'll support them once they give you robo/super powers, but that silicon shit is just vanity incarnate. Buying yourself prettiness so people will like you more... nothing but pure vanity.

Eh... I prefer hormone pills with implants being the alternative... Then again, this is under the assumption that I'm the one wanting bigger breast (and then some), so there's that...

Other than that, I don't care enough to complain, but just know that I'm dating you because of your metaphorical/physical brain... So, do you dare put any implants on that part of you body or else I will break up with you! And I rarely the one that initiates the breaks up in these kinds of relationships! IT'S ALWAYS TOO DAMN EMOTIONAL ON MY END!!

My only concerns are for health and sensitivity, they turn numb or are impaired in their function I will oppose their application.
If everything is A-okay, I'm behind it. ^^

I'm gay and I was not supportive of my boyfriend getting circumcised (he hasn't) or getting a surgery that might have made his penis appear longer (by cutting a ligament more of it would be exposed outside of the body, -also didn't happen).

I can extrapolate and say I would not be supportive of a female significant other getting breast implants. I would not make it a deal breaker for our relationship unless they were absurdly huge. I would try to talk her out of it, but ultimately it is her decision. If she got them despite my attempts to persuade her otherwise I would do my best to get over it after it was all said and done.

Uh, no. No breast implants are not relationship dealbreakers. It's a little weird and all, but eh? Love is love.

That being said, I can't imagine personally wanting my SO to get breast implants, and I'm sure as fuck not paying for them.

Referring specifically to my SO, I'd be against it (speaking generally). Society's view on breasts is already really out of whack and there's a lot of research, to my knowledge, correlating severe psychological problems with implants. Of course, I'm sure the argument could be made that it's due to the crippling lack of self-confidence many likely possessed prior to getting implants that causes said psychological problems. It also supports an industry that preys on people's insecurities.

Plus, on a personal aesthetic level, I think they look weird (but I'd get used to it pretty quickly).
