Poll: Implants: Do/would you support them? (Probably NSFW)

I've previously worked at a breast clinic so I've seen a lot of people having difficulties with them, but that's like saying I work at a hospital and I see a lot of ill people so obviously I'm biased.

That said most of the time if you can tell someone has implants they look terrible in my opinion. I'm not against them for medical reasons like mastectomy or what ever, but I think just because you want bigger boobs is a terrible reason to have surgery (I'm against any sort of none necessary surgery).

If my SO were to ask me to get them, my answer would be "hell no" and I'd find myself rethinking the relationship.

I would also personally never get them for myself, I don't have any moral objection to them but I would never want them.

However, I also wouldn't lie to her about it. If I thought it might affect my physical attraction to her (either positive or negative), I'd tell her that.

I think a more interesting (and controversial) question would be: what would you do if your significant other wanted them, and wanted you to help pay for them?

If I had smaller boobs and wanted them bigger, then honestly, I could see myself potentially considering it. It just seems like a logical option, and it's nice that it exists. Obvious implants often do look artificial and kind of freaky to me (like, my brain doesn't see them as actually being boobs), so I would have to do a lot of research before being sold on something like that for myself. Then again, plenty of more natural boob jobs probably go unnoticed as being implants, so I'm sure there's a range of results you can get based on your body and what you want.

It's super annoying to find a cute top or dress that fits perfectly everywhere except you can't zip up the chest region. Or the buttons gap and pop open to embarrass you. Or bras, for that matter! You'll be shopping, and see all these really pretty ones, and then you look at what sizes they're in. I'm right on the border between sometimes finding the ONE that was ever shipped to the store, and being stuck in the grandma section for life.

Maybe that's subconsciously why I moved to Washington state. It's not like you're ever going to need to wear a bathing suit up here in the first place!

I've dated women with B's to G's and even one with DD implants and I'd have to say I prefer the unaugmented ones every time. That said if it's really detrimental to a woman's confidence then they should get them if they so desire. If I had a small penis and there was an option to upsize I tell you I'd be the first in line.

Mostly because "all natural" just has a better feel... although, also because I'm a supporter of the small kind of breasts, so this is kinda my enemy... in way.

I'm gay and I was not supportive of my boyfriend getting circumcised (he hasn't) or getting a surgery that might have made his penis appear longer (by cutting a ligament more of it would be exposed outside of the body, -also didn't happen).

I can extrapolate and say I would not be supportive of a female significant other getting breast implants. I would not make it a deal breaker for our relationship unless they were absurdly huge. I would try to talk her out of it, but ultimately it is her decision. If she got them despite my attempts to persuade her otherwise I would do my best to get over it after it was all said and done.

Referring specifically to my SO, I'd be against it (speaking generally). Society's view on breasts is already really out of whack and there's a lot of research, to my knowledge, correlating severe psychological problems with implants. Of course, I'm sure the argument could be made that it's due to the crippling lack of self-confidence many likely possessed prior to getting implants that causes said psychological problems. It also supports an industry that preys on people's insecurities.

Plus, on a personal aesthetic level, I think they look weird (but I'd get used to it pretty quickly).

Did you see some of the modern arm or leg prosthetics? I would totally get in line for one, if they get more advanced. They look fucking cool.

In my opinion it's just like any other body modification. If you want it, get it. Just make sure to go to a professional. But if you're going super radical then you might want to consult a friend's opinion too. A good friend can always tell if you're about to make a dumb decision.

I have several tattoos and I always run the ideas by my mates just to make sure I'm not making any obscure social faux-pas or if there's accidentally a dick in the line work or something. Same thing goes for tits. Get your friends to help you research.

It all depends. I knew a girl in my highschool who got implants because she literally had no breasts. She was flatter than a piece of paper. She wanted implants to be more in line with how she wanted to look. I have no qualms at all with that.

Now someone going from D to HHHHH (or whatever) I personally think is hideous and disgusting, but still wouldn't stop someone. I wouldn't encourage it, but it's their body and their choice.
