OT: I still miss MaxTheReaper, he was a fun guy. He disappeared from twitter last year too. :/

I wondered how long it would be before the Mods showed up but...seriously...I thought we were all doing quite well and that everyone was being well mannered, considering.

In fact I've been rather proud of how polite everyone's been. And now you glare at us when--oh, woe is me--nobody has done anything!

Also, what happened to like Cherry Cola and Sleekgiant, and Jack and Calumon, and Onyx Oblivion, and Julian King, and Neon Bob, and Aby_z... haven't seen any of them around in forever... I wonder if any of them got banned... I remember they all used to be staples of the escapist... much like Yureina used to be... but that was a long time ago...<.<

Other than Cherry Cola, the Asylum crew remains un-banned. Most of them have simply left due to the deteriorating state of the forums.
But I shall remain, rebuild the forums, and restore them to their former glory!

Well obviously... MaxTheReaper... he who shall not be named... never knew him... but he will forever be apart of the Escapists history... he went down in a blaze of hatred and rage...<.<

To this day I still am completely unable to tell whether they were a boy or a girl... perhaps we will never know...<.<

Whether anyone liked Max or not.. he was a god among this forum.

Boudica was funny and Bizzare,but that menstrual art thread scarred me for life.

Since other people have mentioend Lilithslave's abandonement, I do actually miss them. They were very misunderstood, like them feeling outcast when they made a thread about Touhou being the one true religion, and nobody saw the jokeyness in it because it was obscure enoguh for people to take it as some kind of oppression by hipsters. Basically getting disliked for expressing their love of a game. That's a bit sad for a gaming site.

Lilithslave simply didn't survive the growing pains of being on this forum. She took a bit too much offense against people ridiculing what she liked, but that's the risk you take when you throw your likes in the open like that. And then she made a very passive aggressive thread about how she shan't ever return to this forum.

All she needed to do was loosen up.

She was a bomb waiting to go off. If she hadn't left on her own back in June, I'd be damn sure we would be counting her name on the list of The Banned right now.
Boudica was a strange one, my dislikal for her actually lowered as time passed, but then I guess some switch just flipped and I guess she got banned for something? I dunno.

My most missed is MaxTheReaper. He/She/it was endlessly entertaining and I enjoyed a thread 10x more whenever he showed up.

And the other was a friend of Max's I believe. I forget the name but towards the end of his career he took up an HK-47 avatar and started speaking as HK did.

I don't generally remember specific escapist members enough to notice when some get banned, but who could possibly forget Zeel?

That guy hated Bioware with a passion I didn't know human beings were capable of.

Anyone remember this legendary [a href="http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.351892-BioWare-Defends-Mass-Effect-3-Launch-Day-DLC?page=1"]44 page thread argument[/a] over the $10 From Ashes DLC for ME3? 90% of it was precipitated by him constantly spewing unending insanity and hatred towards Bioware and anyone who replied to him and ultimately resulted in his suspension. I seriously think that guy had a mental health problem, and in retrospect maybe should have been ignored.

He's probably been mentioned already (I haven't read the entire thread), but remember Anthraxus? Anytime the Elder Scrolls were mentioned he would strike the thread like a homing missile. Can't say I miss him.

Edit: Also sad to see that Matthew94 is gone. I remember enjoying his posts alot.

I miss Mortai. I think the only reason his profile got removed was ban jumping, though, so it's not like they were just mean.

Really? Mortai never struck me as the banjumping type.

OT: Zeel.....say what you will about him, he did a hell of a job in bringing us all together.

I remember Mythrandia! Oh god, his threads were possibly the greatest mind-fucks of all time. I loved trying to understand just what the hell he was saying. XD

OT: It turns out that @reonhato had 7 different accounts (including @reonhato @sukoru @pyrate @pyrate27 @imawesome) and actually mocked and taunted the Mods on the Mod Team chat room about their utter inability to stop him or search him out.

It took Kross about 5 seconds to hack the accounts, find out the Poster's real identity, etc.

Reonhato and Pyrate were one in the same? Huh, I didn't actually realize that. Don't forget that @yeahinept was him as well -_-

My answer: I don't really miss any banned people per se. Most of them were banned for reasons that I'd agree with. However, I tend to miss quite a few users that just decide to not post much any more.

I was really upset when I saw Mathew94 got banned..I thought it was quite a shame, as I never really saw him do anything wrong.. To me, he was always a super nice guy T_T

But can anybody tell me what happened to Sean Hollyman? He just kinda vanished, and his profile said he was banned, but I could never find a single reason why he'd get banned in the first place?

I didn't even realize TestEcull had been banned. That's a shame. I enjoyed him, as well.

As far as the infamous Zeel, he was around here after I got here. Can't believe I didn't notice him.

I was a bit sad when Matthew94 got banned, it was a shame, he was a great guy, although it's not too bad, we do go to the same university so if i can find out what his name is and what he looks like, i can talk to him again

But there are two who I'm glad are banned, Danyal and Xanthious

Danyal, because of his anti Islam views and constant threads trying to demonize Islam, fortunately that came back to bite him as on his last thread that got him suspended, of course he could have accepted his punishment like a man, but no he went out kicking and screaming at the mods which led to him getting banned

Xan, because he just came across as your typical republician, a bit of a clockcuckoolander and quite infuriating as well after we debated about gun control where he believed guns are needed to overthrow the government which is why the government wants it. Although.I didn't know he was banned until now, can someone fill me in on how it happened
