Poll: Mum or Mom?

Mom doesn't look right, sound right or feel right to say. It actually grates on me when I hear someone really emphasise it like they do in some American comedies - that bit from Family Guy is like sandpaper in my ears.

Mum, because I'm British. It's the normal thing to say round here.

Mum. It's just always been that way for me. Dad and I pissed her off for a month though, calling her "mumsy". We even got a few weird looks in public.

Mostly mom but, sometimes I call her madre even though i'm not Spanish. Not sure why.

Then again, I call my mum by her first name, so it's sort of a moot point.

Spell and say mum. It's an Aussie (and I imagine generally British) thing to do.

Mum when i am calling to her or entering a conversation. Or how i refer to her in conversations.

Mom during or leaving the conversation.

I mostly say mum, simply because its easier.
