Artillery, it's like being the most epic sniper on the planet. You just get told where to put the pain...

my entire family somehow expects me to join the army and what ive been figuring is either paratroops or special forces, paratrop cos well its an adventure also theres less chance of being bogged down in block by block combat.

special forces because im naturally sneaky and i move fast and quietly always have, on a different side i suppose it would pay a hell of a lot more

I hear they have a high survival rate.
You never said who's army I'd be serving in though. Can it be the Imperial Guard? Please?

They have such nice hats.
oh the imperial gaurd have the fanciest hats but you want to go with the ones who have the fanciest, vostroyand have particularly fancy hats so do the preatorians.

Dunno that I'd even be allowed to serve, given how bad my eyesight is. But I'd want a desk job.

In Britain at least you have to be specially picked. Your only other way in is Paras then re-enlisted into the SAS because your so damn good and then into Secret service.

Logistics... Although you need to be good at maths... considering you've worked out you have better odds away from weapons that seems likely.
me and maths don't really like each other so i think it would be wise for me to be the general guy or something sitting at the back if i had to be in the army :)

Special forces, being dropped behind enemy lines and calling in airstrikes on vital targets then fuck people up in various ways.

Ah, yes. The Vostroyans, I do like their uniforms.

Must get to reading Rebel Winter after I'm finished with Cain's Last Stand.

Which ever branch snipers fall into, that would be my bag. That said, I wouldn't join up with the military to begin with.

Special Forces. Partly because I'm pretty good at sneaking, partly because I don't want to be shot at.

Airborne, because I like flying.

Second choice would be armored, since blowing stuff up inside a well-protected metal box is pretty fun too.

But they are often shot at.
OK, screw it. I wouldn't want to be in the military anyway.
Unlucky you have just been automatically enlisted for the Russian frontline suicide squad... This is your bomb you will wear it sleep with it and die with it. Espesially the last one... but don't worry you are not likly to be shot at.

You appear to have left out the non-combat sections of any Army in your poll.

If I had to go into the British Army, I'd choose the Royal Corp of Signals or the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers. As it is, I want to re-try for the Royal Air Force, and go in as an ICT Specialist specialising in hardware, working with the radars, networks, etc.

I'm seriously considering General Infantry. I would say Armored but sitting in a big metal box with a really big gun really isn't as comforting as you would think.
