I'm heterosexual lady.
Boring as poop I know.

Of course, oddly enough, non heterosexual things do get me horny sometimes.
Odd that.
Perhaps I am a bit of both?
I knew a bi-female that was entirely enamored with the male on male anal sex, and yet was disgusted whenever the context was shifted from gay porn to male on female. She thought any female who took in in the pooper was a whore, and any guy who wanted to 'play the back nine' was a 'fag' and should just admit he was gay.

Chick had problems.

Anyway, I guess that means your situation isn't too odd. I mean, when this is your benchmark, a lot of shit gets pretty tame and sane.
Then I guess I'm glad you never saw my post on the favorite fetish thread.

Elaborated on the...non-heterosexual bits.
Actually, quite a few people here have a very average sexual orientations, that's topped with a lot of...interesting kinks.
There's kinks, and then there's insane bigoted bullshit.

It's like that guard from Harold and Kumar. Complete lunacy.

Out of creepy curiosity, I looked up the post you mentioned. Doesn't seem that off to me.

Hell, I share about four of them. And based on some of the things I've done...

Yah, like I said. Tame.

Also, cute. Your so nervous I want to reach through the thousands of miles of glass and copper that separate us and pinch your cheek!

It's not everyday one shares their kinks with the general public.
Of course I will admit browsing that thread up till that point made me just look like vanilla with sprinkles.
Still took a lot of guts though.
These are for the most part, private things.
As a former soldier, I guess I'm too used to spewing forth whatever random, depraved, private thoughts that cross my mind. I forget sometimes that there is such a thing as 'private' and 'too much information,' and not everyone is as unashamed of the perverse inner workings of their mind as I am.

I apologize if any of my comments made you uncomfortable.

Completely heterosexual. Not much more to say on the matter, I suppose.

Hope everyone is having a fantastic day :D
The whitest of breads here folks. Straight, non gay bashing and pretty much to the point. I think this guys alright. If a bit boring.
Are you kidding? That's the most deviant of all sexual activities! The very root of all social disease.

Normaling.

I'm not uncomfortable.
This is a thread discussing the sexuality of users. I would expect to see other aspects of users lives posted on here.
Those who are uncomfortable with such a subject are at most avoiding this thread completely at the least, they are simply browsing through the replies.

I clicked Asexual, but It is actually something in between: Demi-Sexual. Meaning, I can only have a sexual desire for people I am close to, and that person is my girlfriend, who is Demi-Sexual as well, but has some Bi tendencys, because she has caught herself checking out women and having "fantasys." Although, she will never act on them because she doesnt want to cheat on me.

However, We are not having sex until we are married for several reasons:
1) Tradition
2) Easier on our part. Meaning, no chance of parents catching us, no chance of pregnancy, etc. If we never do it in the first place.
3) Sheer, unbridaled, concentrated will-power.
4) Threat of Slap-happy girlfriend if I try.

It's friday night, I'm bored, and I need to stay awake for a while to reset my sleep schedule. So, I thought I'd ask a personal question. Do you prefer ladies or fellas? Or both? Or neither?
Just in case you don't already know this...

but...

'transgender' isn't a sexual orientation, its how you perceive yourself. Granted, its highly unlikely that its any more of a choice than sexual orientation is, but they aren't the same thing.

So a more accurate thread title would've been 'what's your sexual orientation and gender identity'...

which brings me to my next point...

I'm asexual... and genderless.

That is... I don't see myself as a man or woman.

Heterosexual I'm pretty sure. Never had the desire the have sex with a man.

But I would much rather be asexual. I'd rather not have children or a sexual partner because it seems like a lot of work.

Hmmm, when i feel sexual urges, it's usually directed towards females, to hetero.

Although, I'm really not driven by sex, nor do I seek relationships. Not that I'm averse to them, its just that when I think about all the shit that's on my plate at the moment with job and college (plus I have to coordinate some other garbage), and when I consider all that together, the idea of a relationship is just killed for me.

When I begin to get my stuff together, I'll hit the dating scene. Just not right now.

I am gay. I'm so fucking gay. On a scale of one to ten I score a gay-point-gay! I'm so gay, that when mathematically graphed out I form a fractal of gayness bending over further and further into infinity, like an M. C. Escher sketch of man-on-man action where both men are simultaneously the man on the other man! On the seventh day of Creation, when God planned to create gay, he saw the across time, blinked, then did a slow clap while shaking his head, saying "Well, there's no way I can top you. I might as well take the day off!" even as Adam protested, "You can't stop now. All you've made of the dinosaurs are bones! And what about this Higgs boson thing? You were up all night making all the blueprints. You can't not create it now!" I'm queer. I'm gay. I'm homosexual. I'm a poof, I'm a poofter, I'm a ponce. I'm a bumboy, batty-boy, backside artist, bugger. I'm bent. I am that arse bandit. I lift those shirts. I'm a ******-ass, fudge-packing, shit-stabbing uphill gardener. I dine at the downstairs restaurant, I dance at the other end of the ballroom. I'm Moses and the parting of the red cheeks. I fuck and I am fucked. I suck and I am sucked. I rim them and wank them, and every single man's had the fucking time of his life.

So, yeah. Guess I like dudes.
What are you quoting? I know, know I have read that before, but exactly where eludes me.
(And I would google it, but I'm not sure I want that on my search history.)

OT: These things are good for checking if my sexuality has changed. Like, "Hmm, let me think. Women? Nah. Men? Yep. Okay, still gay."
Oh, and to answer: Gay cisgender male here. Nothing fancy.

Do you breathe? I'm sooo into that.

Jokes aside, if you're fun and stimulating in the sack and out of it, I don't give a damn about your chromosomes or what's between your gams. I do tend to swing wildly between kinks and vanilla, though.
And then I always get stuck with jealous partners who get totally nuts because I don't have a "type" they get to focus their paranoia on. FML.

Gay male I guess describes me since nothing in my experience indicates otherwise.

Started out assuming myself asexual in high school, even my attraction to other men was limited (confusion and isolation kind of kill the whole sexual, self-exploration thing). After I got more acquainted...nothing special, I've found queer men of varying types pretty handsome, cute or sexy. So my 'type' is pretty fluid depending on the person. Though I've never dated non-cis men before I don't see why I should limit myself: if I happen to meet diverse but decent guys for friendship, intimacy or more then I'm happy.

I'm a robot, I'm attracted to toasters, PCs and vacuum cleaners, why am I excluded from this list?

In all seriousness I'm pretty indifferent, I'm mostly asexual if only because I'm a romantic and can only see myself with people if there is silly romance involved, the problem is that I'm very antisocial so I mostly avoid people which means the situation has only presented itself once and it was quite wonderful, some of my happiest memories but talking to people is too annoying and I don't really think about sex so I don't feel lonely or particularly care for it.
As for gay/straight/bi, I don't really care, man, woman, space alien mutant lobster, all the same, just as long I like them, same with cis/trans, I don't really care I liked how I looked when I looked like a girl and I like how I look now that I look like a tough guy, probably would be better if I could switch at will as it depends on my mood as to which I feel is more appropriate for me but I'm OK with whatever, I'd be OK being an amorphous blob too.
[sup]Yeah, I didn't answer the poll.[/sup]

Bisexual.

Seriously, doesn't everyone on the Escapists already know that? Do I even need to post in these threads anymore?

Find both straight guys and dykes to be bothersome and complicated to deal with due to their normative and inflexible views regarding relationships and sex. And according to my experience it's easiest to find people of my preference in the metal scene and the BDSM scene.
I quite agree with your analysis of straight guys, but I haven't typically had that issue with lesbians around these parts (East-coast America). I've heard of people having such issues, but mostly people on the West coast. So maybe there's a cultural difference based on location in America, or maybe I've just been weirdly lucky with lesbians.
Not american, swedish. Also known as the capital country of political correctness, the odd part is that the HBTQ-community here is very collectivistic. So people who don't fit in to the relevant norms and expectations are very heavily criticized. Feminine lesbians encounter this problem a lot as people refuse to take them seriously. Bisexuals have it weird because a lot of us "happen to be" bisexual, and thus don't feel to fit into the stereotypes of (for girls) as vegetarian butches who read gender studies. There is a heavy stigma against liking guys too, which makes us some kind of pariah amongst homosexuals. I honestly think I've been unlucky too.

Out of curiousity, I have to ask for something a bit more than that. My hunch is that this has something to do with monogamy and/or fidelity?
Partly, I really don't feel like dealing with possesive people who get jealous over minor things and desires total control over their partners lives. I would prefer someone who is supportive and mature enough to discuss possible problems without resorting to shouting and childish accusations.
The other part is that, well straight guys have a tendency to worry about their manlyness and have strict rules regarding what they are willing to do in the bedroom. Regarding lesbians, everyone I've met has lived up to the stereotype. Similar experiences regarding lesbians. Not to mention being transsexual it gets horribly complicated at times with monosexuals.
Every bisexual guy or girl I've talked to seem more open-minded and willing to experiment more. For example they tend to be more interested to switching things around and are more adaptable.

Sry if it's confusing, brain not working properly atm. I probably can explain better if take the time to structure things properly from the start.

I'm Asexual.

I think I have mentioned this before.

I honestly can not see the appeal in sticking some body parts together and I have never been "turned on" by anything.
