Uh, last I checked, Bounty Hunters are being firmly associated with the Sith in this game. It's not bolted-down, but what with the developers saying that they aren't putting in a neutral faction, it seems the likeliest alignment for them, especially considering the first two lines in the official description ("Countless enemies stand in the way of the Sith Empire's drive for domination. The empire spares no expense for the elimination of these threats, offering massive bounties to employ the galaxy's most lethal hunters.") That being said, I'm running off speculation based on released facts on The Old Republic's main forums from about a week ago (or perhaps two.)

Major Fact: 95% of Sith die horribly. The 5% that do live either go into hiding, repent and become a Jedi, or surrender and begin molding back into society. So, I say Jedi. Also because the Jedi gain the support of Samuel L. Jackson and Harrison Ford. The "Stereotypical Angry Black Badass" and Indiana Jones CANNOT be beaten!

haha indeed! A neutral faction who works for whoever offers the best at the time (a true rogue would have a soft spot for the underdog yet not be averse to the money on offer by the overdog)
As a partner to a SW fan I would probably end up playing whatever would assist them, I enjoy the SW universe but am not slavish to it like I am to others *koff*azeroth*koff*

To be honest the Sith in KOTOR always seemed a little.... well I just can't really think about how they could possibly recruit anyone with their blatently self destructive philosophies. It's like, "You must become powerful! Then you can kill your master and take his place! Then you train an apprentice to kill you!"

Why in the world anyone would take an apprentice is beyond me. Not to mention the dark side of the force was always a little goofy. It's like the second you say "I'll join the Sith" every action you've ever taken in your life is completely invalid and you act like a complete jerk to everyone around you.
