Yes, I've watched plenty of porn in my life: usually as a stress relief, or on occasion because the stars have aligned and why the hell not.

In regards to the ethics of porn-
1) I don't think its proper for someone to watch porn while in a relationship (assuming the porn doesn't include his partner). Even if both partners agree, there's still something off...
2) A lot of porn really portrays women unrealistically. Which is a shame.

I don't see the big deal with it all. I do find it strange how hard difficult it is to find soft porn these days; I think the cheesy storylines make it way more fun.
soooo right! The best skin-flicks I ever saw were the ones that built some sort of story beforehand. Nowadays it's either straight to business, or you get some stupid coked-up floozy they picked up on 5th avenue pretending like she took a drama class in high school.
I've still got an old 80's VHS porn tape lying around somewhere. It spends a good 15 minutes introducing the characters before any action really happens. Arh the good ol' times.
Ahh, that was when women still had bush too.

Interesting side-note, what's our preference here? Bush, trimmed, or bald?

Would make a decent poll, but I'm sure it's been done before.
Well I can't see any harm in answering that. Seems pretty innocent. It's a trimmed one for me!
No hair, I really hate pubes on a woman.

Eh, it depends on the porn type for me. I can't stand much of the big mainstream stuff because the "acting" [by this I mean the forced look of enjoyment, etc], just kill it for me. I prefer to look at the babes, etc, and use my imagination for the rest of it.

I agree that it's natural, and people should always be able to tell the difference between pornality, and reality.
I think personally that it can be healthy, an excellent way to decrease stress. In moderation, of course.

All good as long as it's participants have the adult capacity to consent and do not come to lasting physical or psychological harm. That said, many abuses occur, but more often than not in the context of larger production companies, rather than independent studios / producers where the people involved are, to some degree, familiar with each other outside of 'the shoot' and whose work is held to public accountability.

To that extent:

With online distribution services like clips4sale acting as an infinitely stocked digital video provider for the consumer and distributor for the thousands of independent studios creating media tailored to tastes of *GRANULAR* specification, both the customers, the businesses and the industry all win.

Melding porn into "serious" media or the whole porn as art notion is another debate all into unto itself.

It's a visual stimulation to provoke sexual arousal and aid in masturbation. Don't really know why it's so taboo, probably for the same stupid reason that sex in general is still taboo. And I guess it's mostly an American problem. Wish we'd get over it though, the sooner we do, the sooner we can focus more on enjoying sexual activity and keeping it healthy.

I think about half of my friends are willing to come right out and say, "Yes, I masturbate." Myself included. This number SEEMS to be growing to me and I certainly hope that it is. Get these things out in the open, make them more frequently discussed and the societal taboo begins to drift away.
Well
Pretty much that

No hardcore or kinky stuff, though.

Porn is fantastic.

That is all.
Amen to that!

Porn is a pretty awesome guy. We hang out almost every day, and I like it. Granted, he can be a bit crude at times, so I can see why others wouldn't want to.
