I think it looks good, not sure what all the people are crying about.

Now, the question whether it is a usefull addition still remains. I think if they have a low price-point and the potential to download a lot of smaller games for less money then it could work. I'm pretty sure they will allow you to convert your UMDs so I see no preoblem in that area. If it is confortable can only be judged by holding it, it looks a lot lighter which is a plus.

Last time I checked, Metal Gear Solid and Gran Turismo were games (and if you say Metal Gear Solid is a movie, not only are you completely predictable, but you're an idiot).
Okay I will give Metal Gear a recognition but I hate racing games, which is fully just a matter of opinion. granted I still stick by my statement that they are fixing the wrong problem, from what I understand the lack of games for the PsP is a huge problem the dynamics of the PsP itself is not so much an issue.

One of those six is the PS1, post-introduction of the dual shock controller. What is the PSP? A handheld with roughly the PS1's power. Do you see why people are expecting two analog sticks now?
I understand where you are coming from but seriously adding it NOW wouldn't be worth it. Like I said, IF there ever is a PSP2 THEN it would be practical to put it in (which they probably will). Doing it now just wouldn't be worth it. Hey I'd like a second stick as much as the next guy but it really hasn't hampered the usability of the system or many of the GOOD games.

Well, looks aren't much to go on, but if they will let me download the games and movie I already own for free and maybe some nice free demos, I might upgrade. But until such facts surface, I'm sticking with my 3000.

Oh please! Why does Sony keep trying!? They know DS is more popular, advanced, and better. I hope that rumor of Microsoft buying out Sony comes true.
Really Microsoft buying out one of the biggest electronic companies in the world? Where have I been? Oh thats right, I've been on planet Earth, not bizzaro world.

On Topic: Minus the fact that I've never owned a PSP or plan to, that thing looks so slick. Now if Sony could only punch out some decent titles for the PSP I might give it a look.

Wait, I just thought of something, isn't this more or less how people get games/apps on the iPhone?

Just an observation.....
That's kind of the reason that Sony are pushing the digital-only format of gaming. Obvious, isn't it?

Also, to all of you demanding a second analog stick, THHBBBBBBBB. The second analog stick is pointless. I actually found it easier to move the camera with the face buttons, once I got used to the idea. The second analog stick a) takes up more space and b) serves little to no purpose. I like it the way it is, I just hope those conversion kiosks don't run into the same problems the voting machines did (Virus protection? C'mon. That's like your child's teacher telling you he wears a condom every time he teaches: better than the alternative, but someone is clearly doing their job horribly, horribly wrong).

It looks good, but what would I do with it now that I am bored with Chains of Olympus.
Patapon and Locoroco.

Then you can sell it.
Whats Locoroco?
I don't know that one.
THIS is Locoroco....like patapon it looks so childish but is oodly fun and somewhat addictive lol. You will feel like less of a man after playing it though lol.

it's a rumor! WOW it doesn't mean it's going to happen. I just heard it on a different website that's all.

The controller seems a little too close together for comfort. But then again, I'm getting used to this kind of scale now from the DS and my laptop. (Heck, I can barely use a full size keyboard anymore).
My only concern is that I will scratch the screen to death.

ps. I heard it also sports longer battery life than the other PSPs.

To the people complaining about a lack of a second nub, as Seraph said, having another one would be a nice convenience and personally, I would love one, but the Go is merely a design upgrade, it's still going to play the same exact games as the other designs did, if another nub was added, all action games on the PSP would have to re-design their controller layout to try and use the damn thing to satisfy all the fans asking for it.

I have one single question: where in the world is the second analog stick!?
Did the N64 need one? NO. Must I repeat what I just said a few posts up.
*point's to previous post*
It's not up for debate, people just gotta deal with it. Not once have I nor anyone I know ever had trouble with this "design flaw"
I really hope that you understand that theres a difference between super mario 64 and ratchet and clank for the psp. Obviously the game was bad due to a lack of bad camera controls because guess what! there was no right analog stick! plus supermario 64 used the yellow "c" buttons to control the camera. does the psp have that? no it doesnt. It NEEDS a second analog stick and it IS a design flaw. and you have a problem with the people who want a second analog stick then get over it 'cause there's a LOT of us.

It WILL have longer battery life because it has no UMD drive hence eliminating one of the 2 biggest power hogs on the system. The other is obviously the screen unless they somehow managed to work around that. I actually expect close to double the battery life with this model since it's all solid state now instead of having internal moving parts.

Eugh! That thing is so aesthetically unpleasing--all the unused space they have on the bottom makes it look unfinished and empty.

I have zero urge at all to replace my 2000-series PSP with that thing.

It's certainly not going to make the PSP any more popular, but it'll certainly look nice trying. Too little too late in my opinion. I'll stick with my DS.

You'd think they'd have realized that everyone wanted a second analogue stick - then I would have bought it - as it stands its just a rehash of my current PSP. I just want a portable games console I can play JRPG's on - is that to much to ask?

I guess I better buy a DS lite...when the price drops...
