it's a rumor! WOW it doesn't mean it's going to happen. I just heard it on a different website that's all.Frank_Sinatra_ said:Really Microsoft buying out one of the biggest electronic companies in the world? Where have I been? Oh thats right, I've been on planet Earth, not bizzaro world.0p3rati0n said:Oh please! Why does Sony keep trying!? They know DS is more popular, advanced, and better. I hope that rumor of Microsoft buying out Sony comes true.
I really hope that you understand that theres a difference between super mario 64 and ratchet and clank for the psp. Obviously the game was bad due to a lack of bad camera controls because guess what! there was no right analog stick! plus supermario 64 used the yellow "c" buttons to control the camera. does the psp have that? no it doesnt. It NEEDS a second analog stick and it IS a design flaw. and you have a problem with the people who want a second analog stick then get over it 'cause there's a LOT of us.-Seraph- said:Did the N64 need one? NO. Must I repeat what I just said a few posts up.Blood_Lined said:I have one single question: where in the world is the second analog stick!?
*point's to previous post*
It's not up for debate, people just gotta deal with it. Not once have I nor anyone I know ever had trouble with this "design flaw"
It WILL have longer battery life because it has no UMD drive hence eliminating one of the 2 biggest power hogs on the system. The other is obviously the screen unless they somehow managed to work around that. I actually expect close to double the battery life with this model since it's all solid state now instead of having internal moving parts.olicon said:ps. I heard it also sports longer battery life than the other PSPs.
erm...excuse my stupidity but...hows it racist? Sorry I never payed that much attention to the game since all I played was the demo.Indigo_Dingo said:Its also very racist
All fan concpets for the PSP2 thing looked near identical.neuromasser said:I don't believe that Sony will release anything this ugly and expect us to buy it.... I mean really? All fan concepts for new DS/PSP/PSP2 were better than this.
Being "theoretically" as powerful doesn't mean anything, there are hardly any real 3D action titles on any handheld whatsoever. Most people play handhelds for a pick up and play puzzler or RPG or something, much more often then to play a 3D action adventure game at least.AceDiamond said:It's a handheld that is roughly as powerful, if not more (in theory), as a PS1. 3D Action games can happen for it, and it doesn't look like they aren't going to stop trying. Granted you do not play said titles, but that's subjective.
Number of handhelds with two analog sticks in 1996: zeroAceDiamond said:Ok let me try a different approach.
Number of consoles with two analog sticks in 1996: zero
Number of consoles with two analog sticks in 2009: six (counting all that have existed to date)
One of those six is the PS1, post-introduction of the dual shock controller. What is the PSP? A handheld with roughly the PS1's power. Do you see why people are expecting two analog sticks now?
Uh, unless I'm missing something here, can't you already do that regardless of if it has a second nub or not?D_987 said:You'd think they'd have realized that everyone wanted a second analogue stick - then I would have bought it - as it stands its just a rehash of my current PSP. I just want a portable games console I can play JRPG's on - is that to much to ask?
I guess I better buy a DS lite...when the price drops...
