Oh lets just face the facts, unless they cut the humans out of the script, the movie was not going to be good. It's a Michael Kersplosion Bay movie, all I need is the best screen available, plot points are jsut time to get a snack.

However, the Transformers are adapting to deal with humans, and we do have genders and gender assumptions, so you could expect them to assume genders in order to facilitate communication or take advantage of gender assumptions.

Most decent super robot stories have, and are essentially about the squishies.

Even in stuff like GaoGaiGar, where most of the robots are actual robots and aren't piloted (and yes, they also have female robots in FINAL), there are still plenty of squishies running around.

I mean seriously it seems like every big movie that comes out EVERYBODY, and I mean, EVERYBODY hates it, then again it could just be that those who hate it feel they need to spread the bile so they run to the internet.

the thing about the Transformers movie is that they gave a big middle finger to all the fans, unlike Star Wars and Indiana Jones, they completely ignored the story they had already. in interviews Micheal Bay said "i have never seen the transformers nor will i, i just wanted to make a movie with big robots and explosions"

And product placement, don't forget the product placement.

Dude, he was calling YOU out for sounding sort of sexist with your post. I don't really blame him for reaching that conclusion, this line sounded off somehow:

That makes it sound like the movie was good REGARDLESS of having a female Transformer in it. That's why he's offended

All I know is the trailer was none too pleasing. Last time it was a cheap teen love story with some robots, now it's a cheap ancient mystery story... with some robots. Adventure ho(!)

If they want to see explosions, they should do it the old fashioned way, i.e., stealing a Russian nuclear warhead and detonating it somewhere off the coast of California. It's more fun and it ensures your childhood memories won't be ruined.

Come on, people, where's your sense of fun?! If we hurry we can meet up at the Canadian border and find the location of that warhead!

But seriously, I'm going to love the Editing Room's take on this crappy sequel to a crappy movie.

The script sucked before sucking even knew it sucked.

I hated the Transformers movie for 1 reason:
I was there to see giant robots beat the living shit out of each other and blow shit up.

And I waited, enduring the summer movie bullshit that Bay + co spewed out, forgiving all the idiot moves-robots you couldn't tell apart, human 'relationships' being emphasized, Tuturro's usually good acting skills being turned to evil, Optimus Prime saying 'My bad.' All of that shit.

For a gleaming moment, when Bonecrusher and Optimus meet on the freeway, I thought; YES, YES JUST LIKE THIS YOU WHORE, YOU KNOW HOW I LIKE IT.

And then, when the 45 minute violence gang-bang was supposed to happen, I instead got bukkake: messy, unorganized, and full of moments where I was asking; what in the fuck is going on here?

It sucked balls, and unless the second movie has a fight scene director worth the spit in my hand, so will TF2.
