But that's what was all fucking cocked-up about Sonic Rush, the 3D engine somehow demanded a physics engine to work with, and that completely ruined the fun of running at hyper-speed toward the right-hand side of the screen.coxafloppin said:The graphics are 3D, the game play is 2D.Denmarkian said:BUT IT'S NOT 2D, IT'S STILL IN FUCKING 3D
It didn't work for Sonic Rush, it's not going to work here.
Give me back my goddamn sprites, Sonic Team!
Like Super Smash Bros.
I would assume the same error will be put into Sonic 4, what with seeing Sonic's movement in the trailer and the spin of the end-level emblem shows that Sonic Team no longer understands that the fun about Sonic the Hedgehog is moving FAST.
Sonic does not do well in 3D no matter what the movement restrictions are. Didn't work in Sonic 3D Blast, didn't work in Sonic Adventure, didn't work in Sonic & The Secret Rings, didn't work in Sonic Rush, didn't work in Sonic: Chronicles of the Dark Brotherhood, didn't work in Sonic Unleashed, and undoubtedly will not work in Sonic 4.
