I more meant it in that the games that were crossed off meant that other games were thus removed. You couldn't say Gears of War 2 if he had sadi Resistance 2 was no good, for insance.

WTF is the problem????? Seriously you like what you like. Love your PS3 then love it. Got the 360? Enjoy it!!!! Neither is perfect. Both play games. Who the hell is anyone on these boards to tell someone else thier console is better or worse than the others? Here is an idea, stop fanning the flame wars, pick up your controller, and enjoy what you have. We are gamers, so game, don't come to forums and act like arrogant douchebags because you think your little piece of technology that you had no hand in making is better than the next. Jesus all the time you guys waste in these ridiculous debates (no debates is wrong, time spent with your heads up your asses) is time away from doing what you are so in love with. GAMING.

Hehehe... a few pages back me and two other posters came to the same conclusion, after we bantered for a bit. Some people just like making their stands on why certain consoles are better than others, and what better place to make them than a forum, a place of public discussion? Totally get you on the flame wars bit though. Posts that argue need to be rational and well-meaning.

But its the truth! I saw it with my own eyes!

The funny thing with the whole PS3 vs Xbox 360 is the fact that theres a Nitendo Wii laughing at both. Considering its a console with no Blue ray or fancy graphics it has managed to sell more than the Xbox360 or PS3.

It's extraordinarily funny, isn't it? The Wii WAY outsells them both... and guess what the second place videogame playing device is? The DS! Hell, our teacher once referenced a news story about how Nintendo conducted a poll in Japan, to find 1/6 people apparently owned a DS there? That apparently was their ENTIRE MARKET FOR THE THING. 100% market saturation.
(Note: just something he told us, I have no idea as to the validity, though since he works in the industry I'm inclined to believe him...)

And THIS is exactly why I will never buy a PS3.

If you do want to be insulting, check out a proper way to do so a few pages back, when I was going after Dingo. It insults, but it does so politely, an art which relies on a bizzare form of emotional restraint. Oddly enough, we seem to have hit an accord now, showing that an effective use of language can lead to a civil resolution.

Until you do, I'm inclined to believe Neosage... they would want to release the original or PS3 owners would get a little bit confused. Then again, this is a bizzare time, when even Final Fantasy, a mainstay series for Sony, has jumped multiplatform. This leads me to hope that some of the older FF titles will sell on XBLA for cheap...

Yakuza 3 won't be seeing the west til 2010 at the very earliest.

No new news, just old news that you keep forgetting - EA confirmed the game is going multiplatform.

Saints Row 1 didn't come out on the PS3, DMC 1,2,3 didn't come out on the 360. There are many precedents.

Also people if it's coming out on the PC IT IS NOT EXCLUSIVE! EXCLUSIVE IS SINGULAR!

Well it is nice to know you saw the post I was replying to (infact did you even read my post?) and Bioware has no plans to bring it out on ps3. Saints Row 1 was going to come out on the PS3 but they canceled besides the PS3 wasn't out when they made it, DMC 1,2,3 wasn't out on the PS3 either.

And all I am saying is that so far there are no plans. Our arguments aren't contraditory.

Edit: I must apoligize if I am coming off as a bit of a jackass but debating with Dingo always seems to turn me into a jerk, what I was trying to say was my list was based off factual evidence of confirmed exclusives that the opposing consoles didn't have.

AHK I read that as "What they made it out to be" Totally my fault, stupid 9 AM mornings! You know there was a time I didn't know there was a Sunrise, I knew the sunset and when I woke up in the morning the sun was out BUT THE ACTUAL RISING PART!

Actually there was plans to port it to PS3 but....they canceled to work on SR2.

I don't - you just have to give a reliable source that its not, and until then we go with the more likely idea, that EA are in fact doing what they said and it is going multiplatform.

What? That is like saying if there is no evidence to not support me baking a cookie, you just assume I will because the people who make the cookie tins confirm that I might make some chocolate muffins. I am a science dude, I need proof. Multiplat could just mean PC and some crappy phone port (see lost planet).

Actually, Red beems were used on the PS2 to read the disk. Plus, Red is on the low end scale of the visible spectrum, so if you use red you wouldn't be able to read the information on the disk as fast. Next stop is UV ray or "Deep-UV".

Metal Gear Solid 4 is a Blu-ray disc full of movies with a few game play segments scattered here and there. Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 are both inferior to Gears of War 2 and Halo 3. Most other PS3 games can also be had on the 360. That leaves only LittleBigPlanet as a killer exclusive for the PS3. Your opinions of that game aside, that's still only ONE killer exclusive.

That's a $400 system with one must-play game. True, it has wireless built-in, and rechargeable controllers, and free online play. But here's the thing: if I don't want these things, I save money by getting a 360. If I do want these things, then I've spent the same amount of money with the added bonus of access to a much, much better software library.

The PS3 looks good under the hood, and if it was even $50 cheaper I would consider getting one (then I could take the savings and buy that one killer game). If it was $75 dollars cheaper, I'm sold. If it was $100 cheaper, it would be an absolute steal. As it stands right now, you can get a fully-loaded 360 for the same price and play much better actual games, not just tech demos posing as games. There is more to buying a console than bells and whistles (that's why you never buy at launch!); when you think of buying a console as buying a key to a software library, it's clear why Sony is losing.
