I think we are forgetting about lucario here. He's a steel jackal with spikes on his hands. This sounds cool gonna have to make my way around gamestop this weekend.John Funk said:Easy: Empoleon. Giant psychic robot thing? How can you top that?
I'm going to say this again - Giant. Steel. Penguin.
On topic: Sweet, Jirachi! Do want.
Just buy a copy of Gears of War with it, and your manliness will be restored.will1182 said:Man, I want it so badly, but...I just can't picture myself walking up to the counter at 17 years old and telling the girl "Yes, one Jirachi, please" and pulling a Pokemon-loaded DS out of my pocket. I think I'd die of embarassment.
The Pokedex is the in-game thing that keeps track of all the Pokemon you've seen and captured. You get it automatically very, very early in the game. I'd guess that if you can play the game for an hour you can get the Pokedex. I think you get it after the opening sequence, after you've picked your first Pokemon and won a battle.Therumancer said:Okay, to ask the obvious question since I have yet to actually turn it on, but what is a Pokedex, and how far do you need to be in the game to get one?
Obviously I need to benefit from your sage-like wisdom here. Pokemon is one of the only RPGs I've never played which is why I figure with time to kill coming up that I'll give it a shot.
Ha! If my original post hadn't been a bit long already, I would have mentioned him too. Yeah, the new Pokemon are awesome.John Funk said:Easy: Empoleon. Does it cost money?Heart of Darkness said:Schweet. I already got my Pikachu-colored Pichu, so I guess I'm off to Gamestop this weekend to pick up Jirachi.
And here I thought it was going to be Manaphy. This is MUCH better, however.
Nope, completely free. You just go in and download it from Gamestop, but I think you need to have Mystery Gift unlocked in order to do so.archvile93 said:Does it cost money?Heart of Darkness said:Schweet. Agree.Spiner909 said:Man, I hate it when they did this for Ruby and Sapphire. Always making the possibility of catching them all impossible unless you download crap and trade crap. I was never able to trade with anybody, ever, with any one of the many Pokemon games.
