This article, ignoring what it's actually about is what makes me love non-human translators. It always turns out at least slightly funny.

Funny, sad, but funny.
Yes... hilarious... Now imagine it was your sister/friend/girlfriend who was walking alone that night and that the person hit an artery instead. Not so funny now is it.

Internet hard guys are not generally welcomed here.
It was funny. It was terrible for that person, but I find it quite funny that a kid stabbed a girl just because of his internet connection.

This man is right. It's not really that funny at all...

Haven't heard much media shit-storm about videogames causing people to kill here. The only newspapers that would write about stuff like that are the local tabloid newspapers. Like Metro, Aftonbladet, GT and Expressen. Thankfully most people treat those newspapers as such, silly tabloids.

I like the fact this review never claims that he became violent because he plays Starcraft but that he had a switch flipped by the lost connection. they focus more on the guys mental instability than any reasons why the game caused it.

not sure fox will be quite as generous though. get the pitchforks and torches out its high time for another gaming witch hunt

So, does Sweden not teach their people conflict resolution or stress management techniques?
That is the technique they teach.

Terrible tragedy, however, the translation was hilarious. I'm pretty sure his internet going down wasn't the real reason... If it was however, yes he belongs in the psyche-prison.

What the heck gave this guy the urge to stab someone. If my internet goes down I don't go and stab things in anger. I know that getting addicted to games is quite bad but I have never seen a case like this. My sympathy goes out to the girl but I can't help but feel sorry for the boy as well because it's obvious that he needs some serious help.

What a fucking bastard. Honestly I'm so fucking angry right now. HNGG.

Nice to hear that the girl is okay though. Shit like this doesn't always end like this.

Out of curiosity; does any country teach their citizens conflict resolution or stress management? It's not normal here in England, is it done elsewhere?
There's counselling for everything here in the UK. My brother was offered counselling because he had someone else's phone stolen from him.

OT: I wish someone would point out that if Starcraft had stayed on he'd have been fine, which means if he didn't game he'd probably have attacked someone sooner.

Yeah! Great resort! Instead of getting a life or getting laid, you stab an innocent girl because your internet connection sucks massive throbbing cock.

Uh, not here in the Netherlands they don't.
