There have been some horrible liberties taken with the character both in and out of comics because no one seemed to know what to do with her after William Moulton Morris died. The character was designed to be sexual in a non-conventional way and to use her without that is kind of like giving porn star Sunny Lane a children's show about sharing.
George Pérez wrote some damn fine Wonder Woman material and introduced far more historical mythology into her back story which is one of the things she is most well known for, aside from the lesbian bondage.

I've never been a fan of Wonder Woman, but I've known her origins for a loooong time. When this show was announced, I facepalmed hard immediately called a pile of shit.

This just further proves it, that this show takes the retard cake.

Well, if nothing else, it will surprise and distract the ne'er-do-wells. I mean, anyone who isn't entranced by the cleavage (so... heterosexual lady villians) will be blinded by the shiny pants! Remember the episode of Pinky and the Brain when Pinky almost took over the world with such pants? Well, that and an oyster petting zoo, I think... Tangent, never-mind.

In any case, who knows how the show will be? I mean, who would have thought that Superman: the Angsty High School Years would have been good? Saved by the Superman? How about Superboy Meets World? I'm going to work on that joke some more and come back to it.

Nahh, it's a perfect opportunity to throw it to the Captain [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNsrK6P9QvI]!

Wow, it looks like they spent literally tens of dollars on that costume. Between the crappy script and this, I'm trying to decide whether this show is the result of someone losing a bet or an elaborate build up for an April Fool.
Wow, it is getting ridiculously close to April 1st. (rubs my chin)

I'm voting that this is a prank.

Ugh, that Wonder Woman outfit looks like a bad Halloween costume you'd buy off an online warehouse.
And, "slightly goofy comedy-drama ... packed with Girl Power pop-songs"? Dear lord.

Not too pleased with this look. It's fun to look at, but considering the potential ass-kicking she's going to do on the show, I think a re-imagining is in order for practicality's sake...

Odd costume or not, at least they found a female that looks the part :)

I actually think the costume rocks, and keep in mind they generally look a bit more toned down when on screen.

I know I'll tune in for this show.

It looks like a picture for a Wonder Woman costume on some site. Im not a big DC or Wonder Woman fan though, so I wasnt planning on watching it anyways. This makes me think though, it might be best to constantly change costumes. Marvel does it more than DC (as far as I know) so its easier to see Wolverine wearing a completly different costume and me still knowing its Wolverine.
Too many DC guys, cept Batman who seem to have only had one outfit ever.

Sounds absolutely dreadful. Thanks, now I have another reason not to watch television.

She was in Supernatural (albeit briefly).

Now I'm a little bit interested, though not much. It is still only Wonder Woman.
Was she? I dont recollect her, altough I havent seen the whole of the final 2 series.
She was Sam's girlfriend Jessica.

She dies in the first episode in similar fashion to their mother. After that, she makes sporadic appearances in flashbacks.

I love Supernatural. Probably my favorite show on TV right now.
True, I love the banter, Bobby and Kass are definatly my favs. I really didnt expect Supernatural to be as funny as it is. The ending was preaty good to, although I havnt seen all of it and for a series that got dragged out abit by the fans thats quite impressive.

Now if we could please have a moment for Ash... hes partying with angels now.

Her original costume looks like shit to me, with the star diaper and everything, but this looks like something you would see in some cheesy fan made porno.

...Not hating it.

They found a skinny blonde woman to play a dark haired warrior woman?
