One thing that is on my mind, is who was paying the subscription? If it was the parents then they could stop paying that with good cause, leaving the son to play other games. That psychologist and the parents both need a swift kick in the ass for making such a blind assumption.

Only thing I have to say to her is, if the relationship is really worth meeting over, waiting two years won't kill you.
