I did promise more pictures. I also picked up a squad of Banshees which I'm about to start playing with. At least one's getting converted, they're all getting a paint job.

Wheee!
Nice paintjob - which craftworld, if I may ask? :D

I decided to make one up when I get around to it. At the moment, I'm just painting stuff with a colour palette I like.

I did a concept for a new hero or villain... I've not really decided yet...

I'm thinking about the character underneath the clothing but so far nothing in terms of looks, which is weird for me, I usually forget to think about the personality until I've drawn them at least once.

Alright...I guess I'll post a few of what I think is my best work here:

White paper, blue lines
Black ink and hard times
Write it down, let it show
how you feel and how you grow
All these thoughts, in your head
get them out and get them read
Rhyme the words, make them sing
Make them soothe or make them sting
Question belief, challenge fact
As happiness is just an act
As for the blasphemies we write
The constitution gives us right
So bring down Gods and slaughter Kings
For everyone and everything
And when they ask "What's in a poem?"
Write this down so you can show 'em:
White paper, blue lines
Black ink and hard times

Love
Its insanity
It makes sane people do crazy things
Love
Its power
It lets you do things you never thought possible
Love
Its life
It can save you from the edge of death
Love
Its destruction
You would throw away everything for it
Love
A powerful, destructive and insane force
Isn't it beautiful?

the mind is blank
the body rotten
the thoughts are gone
the man forgotten
and what he did
for his true love
will not be known
or even heard of
a trap was set
the gun was cocked
he stepped in front
the target locked
the trigger pulled
the bullet rushes
the heros skull
the metal crushes
the legs give out
he starts to cry
he lies for days
hes still alive
the mind is blank
the body rotten
the thoughts are gone
the man forgotten

Those are three of my favorites out of my work. If you want to read more go to http://jobz.deviantart.com/.

Nothing wrong with a little shameless self promotion right?
Brilliant, you are a true literary genius. Not so sure about the second one though.

My artistic skills are non-existent and as far as poems go, I'm only okay.

Here are 3 haikus I made.

Crime:

The bane of my life
The harbinger of my fears
Bringer of tears

Time:

It passes so fast
Showing our lives tick away
With each passing day

Friends:

All my loyal friends
Guardians of sanity
Who always help me

So after several composition adjustments (pulling more canvas to create a scene, hating the scene, then shortening it back, adjusting the head positioning) and with some rendering, here is a nearly complete version of the image I was working on before. I just need to refine the background so that a: the figure looks like it's actually in the environment rather than floating on top of it and b: it doesn't look like shit.

I hope you read my guide in your PS tips and tricks thread. It should help you out a bit. In terms of your actual drawing skills, here's my biggest piece of advice: Line Quality.

Right now you have incredibly poor line quality, it's far, far too sketchy to create defined forms. Right now, since you don't seem to be focusing on tone and lighting to create your forms, you have to rely on line, and your lines just aren't clean enough. A single line should be enough to define a form, rather than many sketchy lines. Start using references to create your poses, and should see some improvements.

You clearly are able to draw well and that excites me. You're also beginning in Photoshop and that also excites me. Feel free to come to me any time if you need any help with Photoshop. I'm quite capable of helping out. I really hope you keep posting for us here in this thread and I urge you join the Escape Artists user group.

Easier said than done, especially when you're using a mouse. Still, thanks for the advice.

EDIT: Also, I already joined the group. Could you post a link to your thread?

Finally got a copy of Photoshop the other day, and the results were pleasing.
Photoshop is awesome.

Hey all. Here's my Creature of the Week entry. You can check out my description on it here [http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=187642].

So that was you! I'm a pretty constant lurker on that part of the CA forums, and this was one of my favorites. It's nice and freaky-looking--reminds me of a giant Predator mouth.
