Unsure. I think it just gradually faded.

Things like starting to care about having a routine. If anything eroded it more than the rest it would be the death of both my grandad and my nan on one side of the family. He'd had problems with his liver that eventually got the best of him, but after he'd died my nan just gave up. She didn't even make it a year along.

It was about that time that my family splintered off into two or three different factions. One went to live in America, the one that I live with and around and a third that arose after the death of another family member (Same side... And for a while after, my dad was a wreck). I don't have any problems with them but it's just like one huge cold war that I wished I understood, but at the same time I wish I didn't know of entirely.

My parents had always told me I could do anything I set my mind too.

So when I decided to fly and jumped off the roof of my house and same crashing to Earth...the sparkle of true innocence was gone forever. I then knew I was just a normal person, unable to do anything my heart desired.

How does that kill your childhood? It should enhance it if anything. :p

I had a good childhood with a lot of being mischievous and, ya know, jungle gyms. But the day I lost my innocence was probably the day I found myself breaking someones ribs trying to get their heart starting again.

Me and my childhood are weird...I had a pretty bog-standard childhood, always dreaming for more than I got. Notice I said ARE instead of WERE in that last sentence because I still like to be pretty childish. I watch looney tunes when I can, I like strawberry milkshakes and hot chocolates A LOT. I prefer Mario to Call of Duty and games that try to be gory. I REFUSE to watch horror movies...however I think my roomate said it best. Every morning I start with a bowl of Nesquik and a coffee, so my roomate swears I'm an adult with a childish perspective...or a child with an adult's perspective...I'm too drunk to remember actually >_<

I still have my childhood, it runs away every now and again but I hunt it down every time... its learning, however slowly, not to run.

I cant think Of ever having *Childhood innocence*, growing up in a large family and lots of cousins and siblings. Those bastards destroyed my innocents.
