When I'm playing as a hunter in L4D and I jump on top of someone and proceed to claw their nipples off. Tears me up each time...

I would probably say the first time I saw the trailer for assassin's creed and saw Altair put the hidden blade through a priest's jugular. It took no further convincing for me. The premise of a game centered around stabbing holy men is enough. Honorable mention goes to CoD 4's Nuke scene

Yami, the final boss, saps Amaterasu of all her powers to begin with. With that said, here's the part I absolutely love: after a (possibly) slow and gruelingly trial-and-error based battle with Yami, Amaterasu regains some of her powers. Without warning Yami once again consumes the world in darkness and steals Amaterasu's powers yet again. The scene cuts to a vivacious Issun, her old partner that left her to fight the battle alone, throwing around beautiful pictures of the wolf goddess, praising her and rallying everyone he can to send their praise to her. The praise slowly makes its way to Ammy, and gives her the strength to become her former self, Amaterasu's most powerful form.
Such a beautiful and absolutely touching scene.

Mass Effect - that level with those zombie-like-what-nots. On the bridge.

Also, Halo 2, second to last level.

Yeah I'm not good with names.

Morrowind, first coming off the boat and seeing the world, and that silt strider for the first time. Also in the Morrowind category, traveling around watching the night sky as it passed.

Black and white 1&2, their sunrises and sunsets when away from the obnoxious villagers. I'd watch those all the time.

Oblivion whilst riding off the beaten paths.

HL2 after that helicopter boss fight. I loved that place.

Starwars Galaxies, Naboo waterfalls.

Painkiller: darn well everything. but the cathedral was gorgeous right before the giant came to kick my butt.

Walking out on the wasteland for the first time in Fallout 3
Watching some noob build all land-based units in Starcraft then coming in with air units.
Also in Starcraft: Wiping out a Protoss base by taking down two pylons.

Edit: Taking down a tank with the final shot before a reload while you are incapped in L4D.

yeah, that WAS pretty cool, especially the first time you go to megaton and get horrified by seeing an unexploded nuke in the middle of the town.

Bioshock when we first see Rapture and looking from the viewpoints in Assassans Creed one and two. And of course blowing shit up with the new weapons in GTA IV TBoGT.

First seeing the outside world in Oblivion. I actually just stood there for a few seconds, taking it all in.
Looking down at the imperial city from the mountains in oblivion, stunning. Also the whole Just Cause 2 world from a plane would have to be the best hands down no questions asked.

One that will always stick with me, is ShenHua's eyes in the movie she appears in, in Shenmue I Passport Disc. I don't know how they did it, but those eyes are something I simply cannot forget.

Bits of Uncharted 2.
Most of Shadow of the Collosus.
The opening of Bioshock in the bathysphere.

Not sure why people liked the opening in Fallout so much :p
Personally i just saw brown and badly rendered fuzz, maybe i had a bad port.

Oblivion was slightly better but not much. Though the first time in shivering isles when the room melts away around you... that's something :p

Hearing the back hit the ground and the slight crack before the whole body is pinned down, the slight sound of pain coming from the surprised mouth, the small silence before the panic tune and the sight of the screen changing to red-ish colours as you hear the growl of rejoice and blood flying everywhere while at the same time the log shows: "Xion has just pounced so-so for 25 damage".

And of course that tension before you actually hit it of: Will it hit?!
Ahh, the hunter <3
