Atlanta, so we have a ton: Martin Luther King Jr., Chloe Grace-Moretz, Tyler Perry, Julia Roberts, about 60% of all rappers, the guy who played the "T-1000", Jeff Foxworthy, Ryan Seacrest, and the one I'm most proud of: the guy who did the voice of "Zorak" and "Moltar" on "Space Ghost: Coast to Coast".

Chris Martin of Coldplay and Francis Drake the explorer sailor feller are the only ones I know of, off the top of my head...

Just learned from Wikipedia that Charles Babbage was apparently from here too? Cool. Oh, yeah, and Jonathan Harker, protagonist of Dracula, was a solicitor here, but that may not count.

Major points to anyone who actually knows without looking where my home town is.

And the Real Housewives. Let's not forget the Real Housewives.

I've since moved, but the town where I grew up (and lived until a little over four years ago) is home to actor Robert Vaughn, singer Judy Collins, and the author Maurice Sendak lived there until he died.

Eh... the youtuber Jacksepticeye is the probably the most famous I think. Not sure if he's originally from my home town but he's based there currently. Over 4 million subscribers... almost as many subscribers as there are people in this country.

There are (or were) others here that would probably be more well known to Irish nationals, either as celebrities or due to historical significance, but I think Jack still wins by sheer numbers.

Most famous outside of Sweden would probably be ABBA.

Stockholm in the background there even!

The only "notable" person my town has ever produced is a U.S. Congressman from 1817 to 1821. Granted, I'm from a town of maybe 8000 in the middle of freakin' nowhere.

There are a bunch of famous people from the city next to my town, though. Like Ralph H. Baer, the "father of video games." Though I guess he wasn't actually born there, only lived there. Woohoo New Hampshire!

Red Green.

No really, the Duct Tape guy.

This guy. I'm serious. I live like 8 blocks away from him.

(Woo, go living in the nicer parts of mid-sized Canadian cities!)

I live in the county of stafforshire which over the years has had a fair share of famous people, from notable actors and singers to TV presenters.

Possibly the most famous though is Captain Edward Smith, dude was commander of the RMS Titanic, yeah the famous one that sank. He was born in the city of Hanley which is about four miles from my house.

As an additional thing, one of my old high school teachers taught Robbie Williams when he was a teenager. Williams himself also born in staffordshire.

Biloxi's got Laura Bailey. Very prominent voice actress in gaming and anime. Matt Barlow, former Iced Earth vocalist. Alan Belcher, MMA person-man.

There's more notable people than just them, but that seems good enough. Though I'm pretty sure a lot were just born here and moved off somewhere else.

Nobody that comes to mind. Martin Luther King was born in Atlanta Georgia, which is close enough to where I was born for me to use him. I know that's cheating, but:

I'm going to go with the Lehigh Valley, instead of just crummy old Easton (Pennsylvania), because it's all basically the same thing.

So I guess that would be Larry Holmes, Johnathan Frakes, and Johnathan Taylor Thomas, depending on your tastes in famous people. I would go with Riker. Larry Holmes is kind of a crazy weirdo, and JTT just isn't as dreamy these days.

Newcastle gave the world Sting, Charlie Hunnam who was the guy in Pacific Rim, Jimmy Nail and the cast of Byker Grove. All the greats, really.
