Me too! By the gods I want this game so badly now! Dear lord I think I might have been happy with a bunch of new levels but Valve had to go and make my head explode at all the new twist's they've added to this game.Hurr Durr Derp said:GOD DAMNIT
I've been whining about the flood of sequels ever since the E3 started, and told myself I wouldn't allow myself to get all hyped up over a sequel.
And yet... I want it I want it I want it and I want it now!
Really? I'm glad too, I didn't like his voice. I think he will be awesome if he voice is a bit goofier, if you know what I mean?jamesworkshop said:The Austin said:I can already tell that Wheatly is going to be a fan favorite.
I hate him
I'm glad valve revealed that its only a placeholder Voice acting so they had something in time for E3
Reminds me of Steve Valentine actually (Alistair from Dragon Age, Harry Flynn from Uncharted)2wenty6ix said:is it just me or does wheatly sound like the gecko from all the geico ads
Yes and no. I could see how the paint could be more fun as you can put it where you want when the faith plates actualy work with gravity. I want to make a Portal 2 pinball level! Imagine a big fall, then the speed paint, then at the end bounce paint! I like it becuase of the freedom it gives the player.subject_87 said:Make no bones about it, this is one of the coolest things I have ever seen.
However, including both the blue bouncy paint and the aerial faith plates seems a bit redundant.
Test Chamber 14 had a solution that bypassed basically the entire puzzle. Sure you could complete the puzzle normally by portal hopping up to the cube and redirecting the energy orb, but why bother when you can do the entire thing in two portals?similar.squirrel said:Nah. If you've watched the developer commentary, the amount of work that went into level-design in the first one was phenomenal. Had every angle covered. I don't recall ever doing anything that felt 'cheap'.
No reason why it shouldn't happen again. I presume the team is the same, anyway..
